What would you do if the brakes fail on your car.
A: get it towed to a garage.
    B: carry on regardless.

This driver chose the second option. :eek

Many, many years ago I chose the second option when the brake pipe broke on my Morris 1100. No fancy schmancy dual braking systems back then. I drove from near Limerick to Clontarf in Dublin without a hint of a brake... not even a handbrake, that never worked anyway.

I got home without a bother using the gearbox and the ignition switch. Different times back then. :D

I had the opposite problem once, a blocked vent on the master cylinder meant that brakes stayed on if pressed. I had a long journey to get back to the garage so drove gently to avoid braking as it would take several minutes to free up. By the time I reached the garage, the wheels were smoking!

I actually had 2 good ones, but the camera was acting up a few times!!

1 was while driving out to Palanga, a car in front went for the classic overtake into oncoming traffic, forcing a car coming the opposite way into the shoulder/dirt!

that's a pedestrian crossing as evidenced by the flashing light, it's ok to turn right I assume as they haven't passed the red light

They didn't proceed past the red light. They turned right before red.

looks like you stopped before the box when you there was room for you to pass through it and then stop at the crossing. I can see where confusion would come from though.

Last time I read the rules of the road, it said that it was illegal to overtake on a continuous white line. Must have read it wrong. :o

we mostly all do illegal things every time we drive, this guy went around a stationery vehicle that maybe shouldn't have stopped there.

Watch for the guy in the white i40 stopped at the lights - must have zoned out and then suddenly caught sight of OUR green light and thought it was for him!

Ye can't hear the horn really, but he was blasting it at the Focus and pointing up to the traffic light as if it was his green!

Had to drop the clip's volume to zero for the last few seconds....I used a few naughty words :o

That's because they believe they look like unmarked garda vehicle's.

Its not that, or maybe it is, but my observations are that they will never let you merge into the traffic in front of them, they will break the lights, drive dangerously, every morning on m50 I can count 20 hyundais driving recklessly. Maybe they are more visible, because they are mostly white ? But as I said, my observations only.

The line the OP stopped at is the junction entry point and the lights are for the junction. The jeep ran a red light.

you're wrong, it's clearly a pedestrian crossing because the amber light flashes.

It isn't a junction. There are no signs for it to be a junction from the direction OP drove from. There is a stop line but not a stop sign, the traffic lights are past the yellow box and thus can only apply to going straight on.

If there was a stop line and stop sign, the car would have broken the law by not stopping before proceeding.

If there were traffic lights on the OP's side of the junction, the car would have run a red light.

As is, they overtook a stationary car and turned right - all legally (at least as far as I'm aware it's ok to overtake on a single white line to pass a stationary vehicle).
