Ebay problem - 'Too many redirects'

    I've had this problem for the last 10 days or so, a lot of pages I click on when on ebay such as my watch list or what I'm selling I get this 'too many redirects' error. Refreshing the page doesn't help it. I've read online that clearing cookies and cache helps, it did but only for about 2 days and it was back again. It's extremely frustrating. Chrome is the brower I am using.

    Has anyone else had this problem recently?

    I'm having it intermittently. I first noticed it on Firefox on Android and then on Firefox on Windows. Changing from ebay.ie to ebay.co.uk seemed to help the last time, but that might be just coincidental.

    I'm using Firefox and also have this problem with ebay.ie, ebay.co.uk works fine. Tried the online solutions but nothing helps.

    I've seen this problem too, and it seems to relate to clicking on a result, that's on a different site; e.g. clicking on a search result on ebay.ie thats actually listed on ebay.co.uk, you get the "too many redirects". If you search for the same item on ebay.co.uk, the links work no problem

    It's hard to know which link will work or not though, until you try it (the location can help here).

    I wouldn't think this is something us as users can fix, it seems to be an eBay problem - thread on it here: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Err-Too-many-redirects/td-p/27276588

    One poster on the above forum posted this fix for chrome, it worked for me initially, so fingers crossed.

    go to this address;
    chrome://net-internals/#hsts
    , typing "www.ebay.ie" in the "Delete domain" field and pressing delete.

    I'm having similar issues, again only with ebay.ie and not ebay.co.uk. Except I get "This page may have moved or is no longer available. Please try one of the following..." all the time.

    Even with direct links. I just went to ebay.ie, click on something random, got the same message.

    It's fine on ebay.co.uk, except when I want to buy something not from the UK. Then I get conversions from sterling to euro even though the original post is in euro anyway!

    It's totally broken...

    Edit: Oh great, now that same action is working on Firefox at least... And I've figured that some European posters, when posting in English, assume "UK" and quote in sterling. If you find the German version, it'll be in euro... :)

    Was having this problem for the last few weeks on chrome. This has worked thanks.

    But it's not the same as it was. When I click on a link on the .ie site from a uk seller it goes to the uk site and I have to log in to the uk version. But much better that having it totally broken.
