Sportful Fiandre Light NoRain Short Sleeve top for less than €50 in Large and Extra Large. If you pay in GBP, it's about 49. If in euro it's 51.

There are 7 left in both sizes. It's an absolute steal. I've the long sleeve version and it's brilliant. Like a lighter gabba (without pockets though) to be worn over a jersey. It feels wet, but in fact always keeps me warm and dry. My favourite bit of kit.

Only in L & XL and Fluo Yellow

    http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sportful-fiandre-light-norain-short-sleeve-jersey/

Is the sizing similar to gabba?

Similar enough, however, I find it slightly more forgiving. My Gabbas, are both XL my Fiandre's are L but I'm borderline on both anyway.

Damn you! I had just talked myself out of this on the basis that I've a Gabba in XXL, and that the XL would be taking too much of a risk here..... Now it's back in play :o

You can see the homestore stuff here.

kids helmets for 3euro. I thought the bike stand mentioned was for storing your bike (esp. at that price), but its a work stand.

That stand was never a €49.99 one or if so not worth it. Aldi/Lidl one looks more robust and practical (folding)

I bought one today... It's quite sturdy with my 12ish kg bike. The legs at the back are set up so it can go right back against a wall which is handy... Can't go too far wrong for 15 quid

I bought this jersey >>> http://s.aliexpress.com/umE32Qre from AliExpress 2 weeks ago.

It arrived today and I'm absolutely delighted with it, superb quality and highly breathable. It's very lightweight and extremely well made. I wore it today in bright sunshine and 20 degree heat and the material is so soft and comfortable. I have ordered 3 other designs as I was so impressed with it. It has overtaken my Castelli, Sportful and Santini jerseys in terms of fitment and quality. Sizing is the same as Castelli and Sportful so if you take L in them then size L in this is your size however this jersey fits me better than any of the others as there is no puckering in the chest area when in the drops and I love the zip pocket on the rear for keys/money. For €16.50 delivered it's unbelievable quality and a definite bargain. I got the black/yellow jersey.

I just had a black/yellow one of these delivered in XL. It's slightly too tight on me so if anyone wants it for €16.50? Would save you waiting 6 weeks on delivery... Tags still on it, I only tried it on once.
Can meet in Maynooth or Blanchardstown.

I bought 5 bottle of this a while back. It's dreadful in comparison to the Muc-Off, now I know it's only €1.49 but it's really not worth the price tbh, unless you have a use for the large spray bottles. Better value to but the concentrated Muc-Off

I use it all the time and think it's great. The Muc-Off is a complete rip off and I found it works just the same. Although I rarely let my bike get really dirty. €1.49 is great value.

I have car wax on my bike :o I get stick from the lads cos it always looks brand new. The muc off I find leaves it sparkling where the dealz stuff leaves it dull and you have to scrub.

I suppose it also depends on the finish your bike has so what works for some etc...

Very true. Mine is matt so I won't be waxing it :P

I use the dealz stuff on my MTB all the time. It great for loosening ingrained mud and grass/leaves etc. I spray it on, leave it for 5 min and hose it off without the need to scrub anything.

Speaking of dealz I was in for a few bits earlier unrelated to cycling and spotted they actually had a mini cycling section , gloves, glasses, a mat, mudguards, pumps, inner tubes for 1.50 in various sizes..... I backed away slowly ...... unless .... na there's no way the tubes are worth a punt are they ?

I do use the bike cleaner myself and it's grand for light cleaning or just after a spin , not great for a weeks worth of crud on her bike though.

On cleaning supplies, best value degreaser for chain cleaning anyone? Have a chain cleaning tool so does not need to be sprayable. Halfords have one @ €12 per litre which seems steep enough.

If you insist on degreasing chain this works out at €5/L

    https://www.hardwareireland.ie/product/Swarfega-Jizer-5-Litre-Degreaser--2154/

Any motor factors would have it to.

    Diesel is about 1.25/L 😀

Or just use a proper lube and rag

Cheers, might just clean with a rag and lube as degreaser is a bit of a pain in the hole and a quick google just told me it's not essential as I previously believed.

For the complainers, here's a bargain!! :P Decent shoes for commuting / touring.

Power2max have a summer sale on at the moment. Complete Type S setup with spider, 3D24 Rotor cranks, chainrings, bolts and lock tool for €679.

I see on their site they also have a new NGeco model coming soon which looks like the replacement for the type S. A lite version of the NG, spider only for €490 or €640 with cranks if using a shimano BB. Gossamer spider and cranks only €490

You'll have to pay more if you want to measure left right balance, torque etc but unless you have a particular need for those most people don't need them.
