Best Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeships

Apprenticeship is the only way to do it alright.
The college side is done in fas shannon and dit in bolton st. All apprentices from all the companies do this same part.
After that its down to companies, atlantic and dublin aerospace are both base maintenance so would probably give a better apprenticeship in the way that the aircraft is basically on stands for a few weeks so you can get in and around it and assist on jobs that would give you a better understanding at a slower pace.

Airlines would operate a line maintenance side of the job, which is basically routine inspection and scheduled work which would be generally lighter than what would be found in a base maintenance apprenticeship.
Also because your turning planes around during the day everything is at a much faster pace and big work is left to be done at night. So if you dont like nights id suggest base maintenance because theres less night work.

Then hes into which side he wants to do, 1 or b2 which b1 is a mechanic and b2 would be electronic/avionic.
If he wants to be b2 id strongly suggest that base maintenance is the only way to go. A b2 license is very limited in a line maintenance enviroment.
