Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am not overly optimistic this week. But no points hits.

    Foster
    Mee, Otamendi, Azpi, Stephens,
    Michitaryan, Willian, Hayden,
    Lukaku (c), Kane, Jesus.

    DDG

    Bavies Hegazi Mee Yoshida

    Pogba Alli RLC

    Firmino(c) Aguero Lukaku

    Elliot, Carroll, Holding, Fabregas.

No hits. One of the best things you can say in GW2 IMO.

    Foster
    Alonso Bailly Stephens
    Alli Willian Tadic Ramsey
    Lukaku (c) Jesus Firmino

    Subs: Elliot Carroll Suttner Long

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,300 ✭✭✭✭Father Hernandez

    Foster (Elliot)

    Jones, Bertie, Lowe (TFM, Long)

    Mane, KDB, JWP, Ritchie (Carroll)

    Lukaku(C), Kane, Firmino

    Starting off on -4

Chickened out Kane(C) reluctantly. Think he'll do well but Lukaku is so heavily owned and potentially captained I can't afford to fall behind with Mane likely not to start.

Any leaked Liverpool team? Any chance that dope milner starts?

    Foster
    Stephens-Daniels-Bavies
    Ritchie-DeBruyne-Willian-Tadic
    Lukaku-Kane-Firminho

    Elliot, Darmian, Carroll, Rangel

Feels like it could be a slow GW.

Looks like Mane won't start (see injuries thread). Will probably transfer to Salah now instead

Trying to decide between starting PVA and Emre Can. Any opinions?

Edit. For my starting lineup, not for a transfer.

    Foster
    Davies, Stephens, Valencia
    Alli, KDB, Ramsey, Redmond
    Lukaku (c), Firmino, Benteke

    Elliott, Carroll, Mee, Suttner

No hit, but FT used on Fabregas to Ramsey

    Foster

    Lowe Lowton TAA

    Alli Walters Redmond Ramsay Salah

    Lacazete Lukaku (c)

    Elliot. Bavies ihaneco Lindelof

Not happy with no City cover but not sure where I could fit it in and be worth a -8

    Going 4-3-3 this week

    Foster
    Stephens - Danilo - Mee - Bavies
    Ramsey - Salah - Alli
    Firmino - Jesus - Lukaku(c)

    Elliot - Carroll - RLC - Duffy

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

I've gone from no transfers to possibly a -4 with the mane news and the fact Burnley are very close to signing wood a striker from Leeds. I think I'll sell Walters aswell as a decent chance he won't start either today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

    No hits.

Switching off for MOTD challenge soon.

    Elliott
    Kompany, Cedric, Jones
    Alli, KdB, Tadic, Fraser
    Vardy, Aguero, Lukaku (c)

8 out of 11 at home. Defs with good odds for CS. Forward all good odds to score.

    Preparing for a disaster.

Can, no question. Liverpool players should up lots of attacking points this gw. Both team terrible defensively last week.

TAA or Mee for a start this week? Had Mee in mind until that tasty free kick midweek.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

Have a pretty shïtty team this week no thanks to Fabregas red card and I wasn't willing to use a transfer as knowing me I'll need the two for next week.

    Fabianski
    Alonso Keane Luiz
    Barry Salah Alli Iwobi
    Quaner Kane Aguero (c)

Captained Aguero over Kane for the some fact it's august and every time spurs player in Wembley last season they were ****e so need to see them improve this season before captaining Kane at home

Klopp said he's going to rest TAA this week to protect him from a burnout

It's almost as if nobody predicted rotation from Klopp for this game ;)

Ask yourself one question.....why did you pay 5.5 for a palace defender .....was it for clean sheets? I doubt it
If you have PVA you play him every week. He is there for attacking points. Treat him like a midfielder. He also took nearly all their corners last weekend. Can use a defensive midfielder . I'd never start him if I had him but I wouldn't have him !

    No hits ;)
    Foster
    Bavies, Bellerin, Bertrand, Stones
    Willian, Pogba, Philips,Salah(c) RLC,
    Kane (vc)
    Hart, Tekkers, Dave, Austin

Daniels or Mee? Other defs are Bailly & Yoshida.

Maybe Daniels for his attacking potential? I'm not sure...

Why on earth are you playing RLC over benteke ?

    Foster
    Bavis, Yoshida, Mee
    KDB, Salah, Ramsey, Richie, Ward-Prowse
    Lukaku, Kane

I'm debating whether or not to play J-Rod for Richie, maybe but I'm happy with the selection as it is this week.

    Last minute dilemma here lads.
    Start Walters(WBA) or Lowe(NEW)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    -4

    Foster
    Jones Stephens Davies
    De Bruyne Salah Willian Ward-Prowse
    Lukaku (C) Kane Gabbiadini

    Subs: Elliot, Mee, Carroll, Suttner

It could well be the last stand for Ward-Prowse and Gabbiadini.

    Alli Salah Willian Redmond
    Aguero Lukaku Mounie
    my front 7.

    Tought to bench one...

And Bournemouth & Burnley have very very close CS odds. A real 50/50 call...

    Play Elliot or Fabianski?

Lukakau has a poor record v Swansea but have a Huddersfield mid as well, Elliot is the correct call but there is a niggle to play Fabianski.

I'd go for Lowë. I reckon there's a better chance of him starting. I might be wrong but Walters only got 15mins last week

    Hennessy

    TAA Kolasinac Danilo Bertrand

    KDB Salah (c) Mooy

    Aguero Firmino Kane

    RLC 1st sub!

Fingers crossed for a better week this week

On a good day for you, Swansea could lose 1-0 with Fabiansky making tons of saves.

While Elliot should have less work to do but a greater chance of a CS.

It's a tougher call than it looks like at first glance.

Did mane to mkhytaryan. I'm going to hold Walters this week even though I think he may not start as I'm not sure on a replacement yet. Will definetly sell him next week.
    Foster
    Lowe Jones yoshida
    Mkhi salah alli Walters
    Benteke lukaku jesus

    1FT.

    Foster,
    Cedric, Francis, Morgan.
    Mooy, Alli, Carroll, KdB.
    Firmino, LuCaku, Lacazette.

    Elliot, Mee, Suttner, Zaha.

Anyone else drunkenly bring in Mooy thinking they were getting the guy who'd scored all the goals last week? Just me probably :o

No hits, decided on starting Mee over Dawson:
    Courtois
    Mee Simpson Stephens
    RLC Tadic KDB Willian
    Lukaku(c) Kane Lacazette

    Elliot Carroll Dawson Rosenior

    Last minute decision,

Do I start Ben Davies or Mee

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

No transfers made. Vardy is really tempting and would have enabled lots in midfield and defense. But I'll stay prisoner of my Kanely flexibility for this GW at least.

4-3-3 it is. And Carroll to sub in if TAA is rested.
    Fister
    TAA Cedric Bailly Mee
    Willian Salah Redmond
    Aguero (VC) Kane Lukaku (C)

    Lossl

    Mee Bailly Jones Yoshida

    Salah(c) Ramsey Alli

    Lukaku Gabbiadini Jesus

    Eliot, Willian, TAA, Mesa

One final opportunity for the Gabber...

Elliot or Foster my only real dilemma.

    Heating
    Bailly Lowe Cedric Clarke
    Willian Mane Eriksen Pogba
    Aguero Rooney

    Courtois Davies walters

United, as expected, are unchanged: De Gea; Valencia, Bailly, Jones, Blind; Matic, Pogba; Mata, Mkhitaryan, Rashford; Lukaku #mufc

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

    United unchanged. I hate Darmian.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 190 ✭✭Paddy_Irishman

    Foster
    Bailly Lowe Cedric Clarke
    Willian Mane Eriksen Pogba
    Aguero Rooney

    Courtois Davies Walters Rodriguez

Worried about Spurs cleanie but Davies first sub if Mané doesn't start.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,333 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

Last minute change back to Capt Lukaku. Really wanted to go with Kun or Jesus but playing it safe.

Somehow I've got myself 3 Burnley starters... that'll probably be 0 next week.
(Did Iwobi to Cork to allow a Walters upgrade next week)
