Just re-watched it, Any possibility that Arya has killed Little Finger, took his face and played Sanza to move Brienne out of Winterfell?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,455 ✭✭✭maudgonner

    What are you whinging about?
    I'm not whinging!
Your lips are moving and you're complaining. That's whinging. This one's been killed six times, you don't hear him bitching about it.

I can see myself using this quote it the future :pac:

At least it wasnt Drogon. :o

Edit : Its meant to be Viserion (sp) which would leave Rhaegal and Drogon.

I doubt it. Arya was very straight with Sansa. No lies, no hedging, straight up told the truth of where she spent her time. Then gave her the knife. I think that was her saying she trusted Sansa without actually saying it.

That was just incredible. I just happened to have the day off and got a tip off from a friend.

What happened to Rhaegal? It looked like he legged it when Viserion was hit and didn't come back. I only saw one dragon at Eastwatch at the end?

The fights have really lost a lot of weight from previous seasons. All the main characters are pretty much invincible. Surrounded on every side and after falling back (falling back to where??) saved at the last minute by the dragons. It's devolved to common action movie stuff.

Ya, it looked like he banked left and got out of dodge before the night king could cause more damage.

Drogon was a sitting duck too before Dany took off, although I didnt expect them to kill off and have the night king resurrect 2 dragons.

Cracking episode though, really enjoyed it.

Guess they only need two dragon riders now, it will kill a lot of the 'Tyrion is a secret Targaryan' speculation.

I think they need the main players going into at least episode 7 and maybe the next season and then they'll start killing people off.

The night king was the main threat all along and now hes got a dragon as well as a massive army, kind of unfair. No matter how tall the wall is, they can just fly over it now. :o

I was laughing at the chains they used to get Viserion out, if they were dragging them around with them all season, no wonder they never made it to the wall.

    :D

Noticed that myself. The NK appears to have planned for all eventualities

Days could have passed between the dragon sinking and being pulled out, plenty of time to fetch chains

Or the walkers had the chains with them to pull down the gates at the wall

Well they'd run out of characters pretty quick. The trailer for the next episode would just be shots of the various settings with nobody in them. :D

I agree, you're not wrong. But its just not GoT anymore. How many red shirts died in that episode. I thought the fight while they were surrounded was a farce. As good as watching some bland Marvel film.

Jon Snow isn't going to die yet. Dany isn't going to die yet. Jamie isn't going to die yet.

Seeing Jon continuing to fight, even after the dragon flew off, I knew it wasn't the end of him. That's three (maybe four) times in the last few episode where an invincible main character was saved at the last minute.

I'd assume so, if he breathes fire, the wall is f**ked. :o

It just kept going so much I was fully expecting there to be a wall coming down scene.

Where is Dany headed with Jon on a ship and why? Surely everything is just about stay at the wall now.

Yeah. That's writing though. Fiction is fiction, your protagonists would be boring as hell if they waltzed through life with no danger ever threatening them. And people believe they'll survive, so writers try harder to make it less probable until you get GRRM killing off characters left and right, but really he's just protecting his main characters to do the things they need to do.

Looking to round up some reenforcements perhaps?

Theres no way, even with 2 dragons, given the men Dany has, that they'll be able to take on the night king and his army and dragon.

Jon will have to rally the north and try and convince the rest of Westeros that they're screwed unless they all go north.

They're still going to go to Kings Landing I presume. I mean why bother loading the captured wight into the boat if they were going to drop that plan?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,455 ✭✭✭maudgonner

They still need to go see Cersei and show her the wight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,267 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

I think the night king could be dropped at Kings Landing and still Cersei wouldnt care one bit.

If she does agree to a truce and send men north to the wall I suspect she'll do so to double cross Dany.

An interesting thought now is Qyburns scorpion being deployed to take down the ice dragon at some stage, although if it came to it, 2 dragons fighting one, should see the ice dragon being taken out pretty easily, especially as Drogon is much larger than Viserion or Rhaegal but I do think the ice dragon will cause havoc at some stage for the rest of Westeros.

Amazing episode. I think the only thing I didn't like was Jon calling her Dany out of nowhere. A little forced but it's a nothing complaint.

I can understand people's complaints about invincible characters, but I don't care. I wanted every character to survive and they almost did so I'm happy. I don't want someone killed off for shock value, although admittedly they were facing stupid odds so they all really should be dead.

Also, Team Sansa all the way. Arya has become a right little twat.

Hes using aim-bot, no way you hit a dragon in mid-flight without hacking. :o

I like how he casually went for a dragon flying miles away instead of the one closest stationary
