There's a whiff of misogyny about these sentiments. Too often female characters are derided for things that male characters would be lauded for.

How would Dany react if it happened to turn out that Jon is the rightful heir to the Targaryen throne? Don't think she'd like it much.
I love Jon Snow..such a decent skin! He has balls of steel and is a proper gentleman.

Where are the fools now that thought Drogon would die from a flesh wound?

Yesss! Let's count those morons he! he! How many people said Drogon would die from a flesh wound... erm... right, that would be zero then.

No one (not even the faceless men) said Drogon would die from a flesh wound.

I enjoyed Jon and Drogon having their little bonding moment, and also seeing Jorah looking pretty well now that his Super-Psoriasis has been cured. I thought he'd be more scarred tbh, but maybe his arms/chest are and we just didn't see it.

I honestly thought Jaime was going to be held captive during this episode so I was surprised to see him back in KL. I don't trust Cersei, and I'm not convinced she really is pregnant. However, it's obvious that she's grasping at straws in all aspects. She reeks of desperation. Jaime is the one person she can rely on and even he is pulling away from her and questioning her decisions. I can see her lashing out in dramatic fashion.

I know I'm not the only one who gets the heebie-jeebies when the Night King can see Bran! I really want to know more about him.

Dunno where you're getting that from. Never liked her character at all, now we know Jon isn't a b'stard.

    He is the rightful heir.

Prince "Raggar" had his marriage annulled and he remarried. Thus Jon isn't a bastard as his father and mother were married. The marriage legitimises his (as of yet unknown) claim and makes him the true heir to the Iron Throne.

    Possibly, but he knows nothing.

Hmmm, I think Sansa is (checks the actresses' age) stunning and I've no problem with her screen time.

Have to say the plan to try and capture a wight sounds totally mad alright

Something i don't quiet get it Cersei telling Jaime not to betray her again. When exactly did he betray her? He didn't know he was going to meet Tyrion and then told her when he did. Is she saying he should have killed him?

Maybe when he set Tyrion free (before he killed their father)!?

Has he ever done anything bad?

Even when he hanged a child, everyone cheered it.

    Everyone loves Jon!

Are you watching the same programme as I am ?
Yeah, "Last of the Summer Wine". Nora Batty asked Foggy to bend the knee but he fell into the river instead.

Daeny asked Jon's advice last week saying, I'm losing this war.
    Fleet and General wiped out.
    Dorne allies negated.
Olenna's army and resources wiped out.
Ballless boys went to CR where their ships were sunk by euron.

Daeny attacked the tail end of an army and destroyed some food trucks and a few hundred troops.

A scoreline of 4-1 means Cersei is winning.

The NK enjoys long strolls in the snow and believes the journey is as important as the destination. He has piercing blue eyes and a sharp dress sense. He is an equal-opportunities employer and is a man of few words. He prefers the company of men and is obsessed with a crippled teenage boy - like the guy from harry potter.

Sounds dashing. I wonder if he has a Tinder account :pac:

I have to say I really enjoyed this episode, lots going on, lots of fast developments.

I have not really looked at threads on GOT until this season, but can't really understand the hate for Danny and Arya. Arya specifically seems to be playing to her training and evolution, giving nobody a free pass and happy to ruffle some feathers. We have seen her isolated for so long to become this badass, so she has earned the right to throw the verbal jabs, but also has the sneak and sword skills to go with it. I think now even more so that her and Brianne may work well together.

A scoreline of 4-1 means Cersei is winning.

    That's a too simplistic view.

It wasn't the rear of the army, the bulk of the Lannister army was smashed and routed. 10,000 lannister soldiers plus whatever force the Tarlys had commited. Randyll Tarly, probably their best general is dead. The Unsullied are now free to link up with the Dothraki. In a single stroke, Cersei has lost her hold on the Reach and Daenarys has free reign outside the Crownlands.

A scoreline of 4-1 means Cersei is winning.

In one attack, with one dragon and only half her army (an army already reduced in size after losing Dorne and the Iron Islanders), she took out a huge number of Lannister soldiers, Tarly soldiers, and any who survived are now part of her army. The Dothraki completely smashed their soldiers in combat, and Cersei's anti-dragon weapon didn't kill the dragon.

Cersei had 4 wins against Dany. Dany has one win and Jaime is already close to trying to get Cersei to surrender.

Cersei had 4 wins, but Dany's win was arguably far more important. Like King Robert said, which is the bigger number; 5... or 1?

    Initial thoughts, another good episode.

This is the first episode where I felt the series was moving too fast. Surely the scene between Jorah and Tyrian and Jon's arrival at the wall could have been postponed until the next episode, to give some acknowledgment to the passing of time.

I was surprised at Sam giving up on being a maester, I thought he would end up working with Jon Snow - maybe he will, just in another way.

Arya was incredibly annoying this episode, I'm a fan of hers in general but her attitude towards Sansa was childish.

I'm disappointed in Jamie, he's being played left right and centre. I wish he would stand up for himself and not be such a doormat.

Some nice bits of levity, Tyrian and Varus discussing the note, Sam's reaction to explaining an annulment. The boat scene with the Guards and Sir Davos

Highlight of the show was Sir Davos, he is such a great character, played brilliantly by Liam Cunningham.

    "Nothing ****s you like time"

    Indeed.

Every woman that ever had four children had three. In saying that I don't think that baby will be born.

Davos' other great line was I'd rather be a coward for minute than dead for the rest of my life! It's one of the things that's kept him alive so long.

But sure they havent even started shooting the next season yet anyway. Regardless i cant see Littlefinger surviving the season.

My take on Little Finger's scroll:

He wanted Arya to find it. That letter was written by Sansa but the words were Cersai's. Robb Stark knew that it wasn't Sansa's words at the time, will Arya be able to figure that out? Maybe not. This could cause a division between the two sisters, its could create chaos if you will. And we all know Little Finger loves chaos.

Actually here's a thought; Euron isn't going to be too happy when he finds out Cersei is pregnant by Jaime. He wants her so he can become King, but if she's knocked up by Jaime that pushes him to the side after all he's done for her, considering taking out Dorne, the other Iron Islanders and now possibly blocking off the Unsullied... He's won more victories for her in this war than anyone.
