Looking at one of these with 180000 kms on clock for son. Has anyone experience of them are they reliable and what do we need to watch.out for. Any help appreciated.

They're not a great engine . I'd get a Corolla over one every time.

Those engines are not very robust, they can suffer from sudden oil pump failure.
