This fight will be like prime Dublin vs prime donegal or Tyrone. All winners just different approach.

I still think they would of been better off not releasing any footage . It was like a white collar bout in my local GAA hall .

Its not going to be pretty come fight night :(

    Paulie asked for footage

Mayweather will school Connor. That's all there is to it and all anyone has ever said. Any top pro or amateur boxer in fighting shape would do the same.

    That's great

Did he not ask for full footage ? Who cares about him anyway

Dublin , Donegal and Tyrone all play the exact same sport they just have different styles.

    McGregor is not a boxer.

This is more like letting the Kilkenny hurlers play Dublin in a football match.

Just looked at a 20 second clip . In the 20 seconds I counted 4 fouls . Not good!

Oh as much as I want conor to win this will be a filthy fight

Oh wow I would love to hear the reasoning why mcgregor would be a world champion around his weight class he would have to beat canelo or ggg and if you don't think Floyd is a big puncher these guys most certainly are. One of the stupidest statements I've heard

I think after this if conor decides to make a go at boxing and worked his way up the ranks he'd give a good account of himself..... Jumping straight to a potential hall of famer on his first fight is simply par for the course in mcgregor world but man it's mental in the real world... Still though I'm looking forward to it... "anyone who buys this fight is a gob****e " says many here... I guess I'm a gob****e

Cortez coming in and waving to call no knock down...

Cortez is NOT calling a no knockdown.... he is quite CLEARLY motioning to Conor to step back now that Paulie is grounded.

You folks are really reaching now................

Here's a slow mo and you can see that the traditional no knockdown gesture is not used and Cortez is only concerned at stopping Conor from furthering the attack.

Also note that Paulie's falling momentum begins BEFORE the back of Conor's arm touches Paulie's neck.... he was going down regardless.

    This is hilarious.

Has anybody mentioned the timing of the release of this 20/30 second clip by Dana White? A couple of hours after Conor's workout.
A workout that i was actually in shock at just how poor he actually is and how dangerous this whole thing could become come fight night. Everything was shocking, people will say you can't judge a fight on a man hitting the bag pre fight and they would usually be right but when the man hitting the bag is gassing out mid rounds while making glaring mistakes in throwing punches and movement you have to say what you see.

If he does not catch Floyd with a homerun punch from Mississippi within the first round he is going to get badly badly beaten up. And as i said last night, my big concern now for him is actually that Owen Roddy and John Kavanagh will not have the balls to pull him out of the fight when things get really ugly in the 4/5/6th rounds because they are not experienced cornermen in Boxing.

Everyone watching who has a clue seen it during the workout, Floyd seen it and guess who else seen it? Dana White.

You can just imagine Dana watching that last night "Get that ****ing clip out ASAP"
    Top PR work.

But the cats out of the bag now lads. And no 30 second clip of a was it/wasnt it knockdown against an out of shape Paulie is going to change that. He is ****ed.

He crosses his hands just before it cuts, thats to signal a no knockdown. No one is reaching for anything.

Yep . Visited the mother this morning and she was laughing when it was on SSN with the heavybag . However she also said why doesn't he just kick the other fella in the head instead of trying to punch him

Fooked? No he's not. Don't forget his 74 inch reach!

And 15-20 lbs heavier on the night

It would probably be called a knockdown in most cases but it looks more like Paulie is totally gassed than anything else. Nice straight left by Conor in the other clip but it all means nothing really.

It would have been called a foul because he was holding his head when he punched him as well.

I expect Floyd to weight in about 148 and come in the same on fight night. Conor will weigh in 154 and come in around 164?

Possibly, but Fury got away with it against Cunningham and many others have as well. Anyway as I said, not worth debating as it doesn't really matter.

The fight card itself isn't very good but it's good enough that when the main event finishes after 12min of action people won't care. Is it possible Mc might schedule a a return to UFC before Christmas right?

If the fight doesn't end early I can see a long lay off

McGregor says he'll be aiming for 170 on the night and Mayweather wont be more than 150

    Floyd will be close to 160 I think . He's 40 now

    Don't think so.
In his previous Light middle fights he has weighed in around 150 and was always the same the next day. He might have even weighed slightly less on one of those occasions.
He doesn't look in any way bigger for this fight from footage.

I'd be pretty shocked if he was less than 154 come fight night personally. He'll make weight with ease, and he can sacrifice some speed for muscle.

He is probably 154 already, he doesn't need to cut really.
