    Instead of an post which is fastly becoming over priced and the likes of fedex etc, Bus Eireann will actually deliver between bus depots and they are pretty cheap in comparison. Also if you get the parcel in early chances are it will arrive on the same day.
    Trains also do something similar.

    i used to send stuff down the country for about 15 euro with SDS ,

    Now i have started to use swift post , about 7 Euro and still get online tracking ,
    you can track them through the SDS website also!!

    SDS are very reasonable priced, how does the bus Eireann thing work? do they leave it at the parcel office in the bus station till you collect it? how do you prove its for you?
