Is not showing up after being inserted. Have tired other ports but no joy.

Some times it shows for a second or two.

Any quick steps to resolve this appreciated as the oul headlamps are fading
    fast.:D

Search online for a driver for the card reader. What make/model is it?

is it showing up in Device Manager?

This is a dealtz reader, worked fine on my old desktop but I changed that
a couple of months ago and went from w7 to w10

Think I'll get a new one from mymemory.ie win10 compatible as that seems the obvious first fix:D

I have quite a bit of gear that won't work with w10, 8 mouse, printer, and graphics cards, old laptop's etc.

They changed the driver architecture with Windows 10.

When I plug it in now the drive is showing up, with message, 'plug something into this drive' but I can't get the memory card to show as i have to use it with the adaptor card.

    any ideas lads?
