Its also possible that all 3 dragons could die in one epic battle that completely changes the tide of the war in favour of the Night King.

I think it's safe to assume, THAT definitely won't happen :D

why didn't she bring the 3 dragons with her?

Does she have to be on a dragon's back for it to be targeted militarily?

    Yeah never thought of that.

One of the things I'm most curious about is how they are going to resolve the two main antagonist plot lines - Cersei and the white walkers.

Assuming Cersei will be defeated, either she will be defeated at the end of this season freeing up next season for the white walkers, or the two plots will continue to run together in the final season.

I'm going to predict that the massive battle at the end of this season will be white walkers attacking Winterfell. If Jon convinces Dany to help with her dragons, that would be an awesome episode. Can't wait to see dragons vs white walkers.

It's a shame they don't do cinema screenings for some episodes with these massive battles because they are wonderfully cinematic. Films are sent to cinemas digitally now so no technical reason why not. I'm sure they'd made a lot of revenue.

If so, I wonder might she consider training up Miss Andy or some other trusted ally to fly one of her babies, if they were put to the pin of their collar militarily...

Well you'd have to assume that without someone on their back, the dragons would just blaze everything and everyone they see, Dothraki included. She was obviously controlling when Drogon shot the flames with the "dracarys" command.

All three of them attacked the slave master's fleet in Meereen.

I don't remember any Dothraki being on those boats.

If only there was a brave bastard about with Targaryen blood in him to ride another alongside her!!!

Yeah, but she was on Drogon's back and the other two then attacked the same ship, so it's still possible she has to at least be controlling one of them (Drogon being the biggest) for the other two to follow that lead.

Quick question, does fire kill the whitewalkers?

Meant to ask this a while back, I watched all the episodes again before season 7 and twice there was (a) white walker(s) who walked through fire, at Hardhome when the Hut was ablaze, and when they went after Bran in the cave.
The second time was interesting because all the wights wouldn't go near the flames, but the white walkers just walked through it as if it wasn't there.

I think Dragonfire can kill walkers. Valyrian steel was forged with dragonfire and then there's Dragonglass.
    Dragons are magical creatures.

    Davos also hinted at this.

Of course she does. It's not a drone.

They could probably stop the white walkers right now if Dany flew the three dragons up past the wall and nuked them from orbit.

The Nightking was shocked at Hardhome when Jon Snow managed to kill just one walker. Whitewalkers wouldn't know what hit them.

I wonder how White Walkers would fare against wildfire. Cersei's probably got some more stashed away.

I wonder how Dragons fare in the cold of Winter.

Lizards being cold blooded and all.

On the upside, my own first reaction to the question would be some form of epic looking armour. Though maybe that would hinder flight a bit.

Skyrim is really cold and that place is full of dragons.

How do they cope? They got armour or just all warm on the inside from the fire breathing or something?

Just watched now after avoiding spoilers.

Danerys - Jon scenes just a bit meeehh

Aryia and Sansa scenes had just about the right amount of tension, these were good.

The final battler done well especially the burning Lannister troops but a wee bit predictable in that I expected Bron and one dragon to die, and it may come to pass yet.

It's starting to feel just a wee bit rushed, especially when you consider we haven't really seen white walkers get this season.

    doing his

So it's predictable because it didn't do what you expected it to do?

I posted this in the season 6 episode 8 thread last year...

The faceless men plot was meandering and took a long time but at least when (if) Arya starts kicking ass as an assassin in Westeros there can be no complaints of "how did Arya suddenly become the most lethal killer in Westeros". They took their time to develop her as an assassin... the pay off better be worth it.

I guess I was wrong... there were still complaints...

I'm struggling a bit with Aryas skill level.

She barely beat the waif last season but now she's a fully fledged 16 yr old ninja assassin. Deflecting heavy blows from Brianne with needle. A stretch too far imo.

I agree that it makes absolute sense that Arya is now a deadly assassin/fighter.

That being said, they should have shown more of her fighting training in Seasons 5 & 6 rather than constantly just cleaning dead bodies and being questioned about being No One. Would have made that story a lot more palatable too.
