Loose leaf tea bags

I was in Germany recently and often the tea served in restaurants and hotels was Eilles Tea Diamonds. These are diamond shaped tea bags with loose leaf tea in them. We thought that they were much nicer than the tea you get served here and better value considering their premium quality.

I bought some of it online but it's quite expensive at around €7 for 20 for a box of 20. The closest thing I've had in Ireland are Bewley's pyramid tea bags but these are even more expensive at €4.50 for 12 and they are only available in herbal teas.

Does anyone know any black tea bags available in Ireland like what I have described even if it's only slightly cheaper?

I'm not sure where you are based but if in Dublin you could try Clement & Pekoe on St William St. They are a specialist tea shop sell a host of loose leaf teas. They also stock boxes of tea bags that you fill yourself with your loose leaf tea. Think they come in boxes of 50 or so for about €5.

This is what I sometimes use...https://www.cupoftea.co.uk/ronnefeldt-tea-filter-bags/p59. You can fill them with whatever you want. Is there a reason you don't want to use an infuser or a brewing basket or something?
I get a bunch of things at once from that website and it doesn't work out too expensive.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I probably should get a tea infuser but I find the tea bags convenient.
