Hi there just looking for any ideas regarding planning laws etc. We live in a terraced housr and have built a log cabin at the back of the garden. Its is roughly 20 x 20'. We have recently spoken with our neighbour, part of the back of the cabin backs directly onto his side entrance, and he would be willing to allow us to use this as separate entrance to the cabin,for a fee, Someone suggested using it for airbnb it has enough space forsmall toilet/shower, and with partition,separate living/kitchen area and sleeping. Any information about laws greatly appreciated..

Beware of Planning Enforcement issues and Building Control issues.

Basically, it will be illegal to do what you want to do without planning permission, and you won't get planning permission for this use.

Op you need retention permission for the structure as it's seems to be bigger than 25m2
