For years i lived opposite to my mother in law. She used to drive across the road to visit us.

My wifes friend took a taxi from one pub to another pub less than 2 minutes walk away.

These stories will all be in the prequel to wallE

Myself and my friend are actually guilty of this one, we got a taxi from one pub to another in Dublin, and were literally in the cab less than 3 minutes.

In our defence, we are culchies, up from the schticks for the night and were due to meet our friends in the other pub, but we didn't have a clue where it was, so rather than ask for directions, we just got a cab. Taxi driver must have thought we were lazy as fcuk.......

Just saw this today and it is pretty damn lazy in a way. But part of me - since I hunt my own rabbit and bird meat where possible - hopes it is real :)

My sister in law drives her son to school.
Not much wrong with that you might say except for the fact the school is in sight of her house and a five minute walk.
The problem occurs when she has to wait twenty minutes because of the traffic layout to turn around and drive back to her house.

I can't be bothered packing when I have to travel. So I shove all my dirty clothes into a backpack. I drop it off at a launderette and they wash, iron and fold my clothes, then pack my backpack for me.

    That's very smart.

Sending the kids into the chipper to get you 2 battered sausages and a bag of chips.

Whatever about the chipper, but sending them in on their own could be good for their confidence, social skills and learning to speak for themselves. Especially if they're shy/used to parents speaking for them.

I opened the dishwasher to get a glass for a beer. When I was finished, rather than empty the dishwasher and put in the dirty glass in, I put the dirty glass back in with the clean stuff and washed everything again....safe in the knowledge the wife would empty it the next day.

Whenever I hear people complaining about laziness, I'm reminded of this George Carlin quote:

“You show me a lazy prick who's lying in bed all day, watching TV, only occasionally getting up to piss, and I'll show you a guy who's not causing any trouble.”

My friend's sister used to sit down on her bed and use the hoover to pick up anything off the floor that could be picked up by suction.

And when she was watching TV in the room next to the kitchen, she used to phone the house phone to get whomever was in the kitchen to make her/bring her a cup of tea. They would have to go out to the hall to answer the phone first of course. :)

Friend of mine at a concert years ago at the RDS. Decided that she was too lazy to go find a toilet (her words) and just stood there and wet herself, then "accidentally" poured half of her drink over herself to cover it up. This was somewhat later on in the night, but still...

Golden showers bbz be okay xxx

following on from the stingiest thing thread I thought a thread for laziness

what's the mot lazy thing you seen someone do

Starting a thread using no capital letters, no punctuation and saying seen instead of have seen. And being too lazy to put the s in most.

    - Driving a car to "walk" the dog.

    - Turning underwear inside out to wear it two days in a row.
