Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Got quite the taste for this gin in Spain recently and the bottle I brought home didn't last long at all. Does anyone know if it's available to buy in Ireland?

    Never seen it in Ireland.
It's a pretty cheap and cheerful gin, I'd imagine Gordon's wouldn't be a million miles away.

I actually thought the same myself so bought Gordon's yesterday on the off chance after seeing it on special in Dunnes. It's similar enough alright, not quite as smooth, but a grand substitute. :)

I also don't think you can get that gin over here.

I had it recently and understood it to be the cheap'n'cheerful local stuff - think it costs about fiver in shops in Ibiza

    On a slight aside:-

We had it served to us with some local tonic, the name of which I unfortunately can't remember, and a slice of orange rubbed around the rim of the glass and then plopped into the drink. It was AMAZING! The orange really complemented the drink. Due to a mix-up in the next round it was tried with a Bombay Sapphire gin, and that was rotten - whatever the flavours in the Larios just really went with the orange garnish.

Intresting, I find Bombay sapphire to be really orangey, or more specifically, tangerine.
