Craft Beer Bars in Malta

    Heading to Valetta soon, what's the best place for hoppy IPAs, can only find a bar called 67Kapitali, they have a few non mainstream beers but haven't heard of any of them?

    I recommend firing up Untappd on yr phone when you are there, you can search beers and venues nearby. You'll also see what people have been drinking there so you know what's interesting and what isn't

    Yeah was going to do that, but was also looking for any recommendations in advance

    Found a place in Valletta online called "Wild Honey", Facebook page has fridges full of craft cans and it has some good reviews (one says 45 craft beer choices) so defo putting that on the list.

    Can report that Wild Honey was good but Il Kapitali was fantastic, great choice of beers and the food was best we had in Valletta. Btw Untapped was useless, didnt suggest one place in Malta, their "verified" feature is a swizz, it doesnt even locate The Black Sheep 200 feet away from it for instance. Think it only suggests bars that pay them.

    That's what the verified tag means. Obviously in a country with less craft beer around, pubs are less likely to sign up. Black Sheep would show on it if they were a Verified venue.

    Use the map function, you still see non-verified venues and breweries on that one.
