    Just out of interest, I wonder what Pogba would go for this transfer market if Utd sold. One would guess its a bit more than they paid for him last year...Agreed, I thought it was madness the price Utd paid.

    I don't think it was madness I think it was a business decision that we won't understand.

    Pogba is one of the top marketing tools in football so he will be worth alot more then say someone like a Kante was last year even though it was Kante released clause Chelsham activated he still wouldn't of fetched anywhere near pogba money.

    See it depends on what type of midfielder you want I think he is a top class midfielder and I am one of his biggest backers but in my opinion there are better attacking midfielders and they are better defensive midfielders.

    I think pogba is probably one of the best passers but defensively he is not up there with the best.

    That doesn't make him the best midfielder in the world though. It makes him the best at doing what he does well and it's hard to argue against that.

    He is not a player like kroos that just passes passes passes or a busquets that just sits in front of back 4. He is the complete midfielder, scores, assists, dribbles past players with ease that no other midfielder can, strength, unreal skill on the ball, tall, strong, good in the air, probably the best passer of all midfielders long and short game, tackles he is the complete midfielder.

    Cant wait to see him this season.

    Pogba's very good but you're getting a bit carried away calling him the best midfielder in the world, the 2 boys at Madrid, Iniesta, Veratti would all be better still but plenty of time yet.

    How exactly is veratti better?? Pogba has more goals this season than veratti has scored in his career.

    Iniesta is class but doesnt score enough goals, didnt score 1 league goal last season

    Like i said, he is the best all round midfielder

    I seen pogba being lauded after Barcelona game as a scholes and keane hybrid... if he shows a little of their potential he is gonna be some player.

    There are better defensive only midfielders, There are better attacking only midfielders, there are better passing only midfielders but there isn't a better midfielder with all these qualities. He's very good in a lot of aspects of his game. Great all rounder

    I think its hilarious we were slated for paying what we paid for him last year considering what the figures for keita that are being handed around just laughable

    I think if he improves on last season he will be. Pogba needs to be over 10 goals a season and at least close to 20 goals in assists in my opinion.

    I never really knocked him last season I always stood up for him but he needs to take it up a notch to be regarded as the best.

    Totally agree but it's always the same when the shoe is on the other foot it's OK.

    This time last year a particular manager was described as not been a manager to spend over 50 million on a player he preferred to play youth and build a team.

    Also dont forgot what he did at juventus. Probably the best player in the league over there for a few years.

    He wasn't even the best midfielder at Juventus during his time there.. that just shows your rose tinted glasses.

    2014/15 he was the best player by a mile, made fifa pro world 11 that season as well
