The thread on illegal streams is locked but more news from the UK.

    http://www.bbc.com/news/business-40727972

"The Premier League has been awarded a High Court order for the forthcoming 2017-18 season, which will help it combat the illegal streaming of games.

The blocking order will require UK Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to prevent people from illegally accessing streams of its matches.

It will allow the league to combat the illicit sale and use of devices such as pre-loaded IPTV and Kodi boxes.

A similar order was obtained for the final two months of the 2016-17 season.

That saw more then 5,000 server IP addresses blocked that had previously been streaming Premier League content."

I actually think there could be something in the Jones in midfield. He could be thinking of a man marking job for him.

If that was true, if thats where we are actually at, then Jose will deserve every bit of criticism coming his way.

wondering if the site i pay for will end up getting blocked. its canadian based and uses a loophole in the canadian broadcast rules to allow it. guess its only 11 canadian dollars a month so if it ends up blocked its not the biggest loss

Nothing a VPN won't sort out tbh, they are expecting this aswell so I'd be surprised if the providers aren't ahead of the game.

There was a similar order over here that prevented the streaming of movies and the like from certain sites/servers, the problem they have is that there is so many sites & servers that are outside the UK it's still easily accessible.

You will still more than likely be able to stream any match on an American channel for instance.

It's definitely a wait and see policy, we aren't as strict over here and providers of streams are always ahead of the curve. It's gas that the country where the football is played has such a limited selection of matches to view yet places at the other side of the world can watch every single game live.

As an aside,Setanta launching a FTA sports channel next month. http://www.a516digital.com/2017/07/new-free-to-air-sports-channel-to-launch.html?m=1

If Jones is heading off - I wonder if Spurs would have any interest in him at all, and take him as part of a deal for Dier.

He could be a decent squad option for Spurs.

In no way do I think he would be a prime target for Spurs, but as a squad option? Maybe?

"Manchester United will tomorrow send a scout to the game between Antwerp and Anderlecht, according to reports in the Belgian media. It’s been claimed the Premier League side will be casting an eye over Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker.

De Morgen have confirmed Manchester United are on the scouting list for tomorrow’s Jupiler League season opener, and they will be joined by AC Milan and RB Leipzig. It’s been reported all three clubs will be monitoring Dendoncker, after the youngster impressed for Anderlecht last season.

The Belgian website says 22 year old Dendoncker is high on Jose Mourinho’s wanted list."

Benzema set to renew contract at Real Madrid.
It will keep the Bale rumours alive.

I would of thought they would already know plenty about dendonker. Going to be a star I think.

If we could've gotten anyone from Anderlecht, Tielemans should've been the one we went after.. he's gone to Monaco so will probably go for 300m next summer or something crazy like that!!!

I disagree Tielemans has been around for few years so everyone knows him but when we played them in the europa league it was dendonker that stood out for me and anytime I have seen him since he has been really solid too.

Dendonker was very good when we played against Anderlecht. So I think he could be a pleasant surprise if signed.

Yah I'd agree here but dendonker was pretty adventurous too Keith would be the type to sit back and setup play from deep I don't think.

L'Equipe are reporting that PSG don't want to pay Neymar's release fee and want to negotiate it down.
This is what Woodward was reported to have been doing too when United were suppose to be in for him. I hope they are still trying this and Neymar wants United...

Duncan Castles has a piece saying Mourinho doesn't think United will sign Bale this summer, mainly because he doesn't think the club will be willing to fund a deal for him - and is worried about the club not funding deals for Matic/Dier/Perisic (never mind Bale or Neymar).

I hope that is just Jose trying to shame the Glazers and Woodward into paying the money required to make us competitive.

    http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/manchester-united-not-signing-gareth-10882093

First reason: Bale doesn't want to leave (kinda moot of Madrid decide to flog him).

    Second reason:
A second reason is an unwillingness from United's ownership to go head-to-head with the hyper-inflated transfer budgets currently being deployed by Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain to build potential Champions League-winning squads. United's net spend on transfer fees this summer is already above the figure invested in Mourinho's debut campaign, with the manager concerned about securing funds for a new “midfielder that gives us balance” and “attacking player” at prices considerably below that demanded for Bale.

    Second reason:

Will you give Duncan a shout there and just remind him that United have the two most expensive footballers in the planet in their squad at this current time and until someone actually pays more to break that record we will always have them.

I don't actually know what you want United to do short of selling up the club to a oil country or slave country.

That doesn't matter when it comes to their willingness to fund further deals. If they don't want to fund Perisic or Matic or Dier, then they don't want to fund them, and probably wouldn't want to fund Bale.

I, and apparently Mourinho, want United to fund the purchases of the players Mourinho wants and feels are required to give us a chance at competing for the PL and CL.

Possibly is. But I don't believe Castles attributes anything to Mourinho, that Mourinho does not want said.

It could be lies, it could be part of a game being played - but I have zero doubt it is at the behest of Mourinho rather than Castles just writing that on a whim.

To me, the link between Mourinho, Mendes and Castles, in terms of what Castles writes, is obvious.

They do want perisic, they just dont want to pay the ridiculous fee that inter are asking. Matic deal is being held up by chelsea, trying to get their revenge for lukaku. Dier is a no go. 2 words. Daniel Levy
