    Anybody know how much one of these is to tax for private use. 2.0tdi manual 140?

    €710 a year.

    Based on engine size rather than emissions, regardless of when it was registered.

    So,its just engine size because its a commercial, the co2 doesn't come into it like a car after a certain year. Suppose its the same with pick ups. Looking for a suitable vehicle so don't have reg yet

    That's correct. VRT is paid at commercial rate and it's taxed privately based on engine size or commercially at 333.
