Anyone know where i can buy instant polenta. Never actually cooked with it and most recipes call for instant variety but any I've seen around just say 'polenta' on the pack with no mention of the variety. Looking in Dublin.

    Thanks

If you get to Lidl you might find some in the remnants of the Italian week. The cooking instructions generally give it away. Quick cook polenta takes minutes. "Proper" polenta takes much much longer, 30 -40 minutes at least.

Going to jump on this thread as I'm also looking for instant polenta! Did you find it or have any recommendations?

Fab - thanks! I bought some yesterday in a health food shop but it turned out to be the normal and not instant one. I'll use it sometimes but it's handy to be able to rustle up something quick!
