Composite Decking over grass

    Hi all

I am thinking about putting in composite decking out the back garden.
    Anyone any experience with this?

I would plan to install at the end of the garden, the grass area of garden itself is around 80m2. I would be hoping to cover a section of this along side my shed (wooden).

What would be the best way to lay this?
I would hope to have it as close to ground level as possible. A concrete foundation? Or would digging a couple of feet and laying sand then gravel before installing a support frame suffice?

    Thanks in advance.

You need a pressure treated frame, need to supported on concrete , at its weight points
Kill grass and cover in Mypex first

OP - Great service from these guys.

They send out a small sample of each colour and a few brochures to explain all about fitting and the requirements.

After I looked at it - i decided it was too expensive - but well worth a look

    here is the linky:

    Thanks for replies.

@dball - I also had a look at PVC decking from http://fenceit.ie/Page.aspx?PageID=32 who seemed quite reasonable compared to other prices I had seen online.
