So why doesn't he just make them go for runs? Is it cause we are also using these games to build performance levels and match sharpness?

Ask Jose. He's the one who said it.

Little bit worrying how dominant Madrid are with 1 first team player versus us with 7/8 first team players.

But I guess they are a lot fresher than us which is a big advantage.

Relax lads. The second half hasn't been brilliant but apart from the pen we've defended very well and created the best chance from open play.

I'm asking you because you were the one having a go at me, for thinking the second half performance has been poor.

That's a really good work out for over twenty of the lads. A great goal that should give martial confidence. Only downside for me was the Herrera injury. Hopefully he'll be OK for the supercup.

    Fcuk off with those digs.

I thought the second half has been terrible for United, you think differently or don't care how the players play, fine. No need to take shots at me though.

Oh we have the new style shoot outs. First team goes then the next team take two and back to the first team for two and so on.

Come on lads we can still win this on soccerball shootouts.

Dude, that was not having a go. Your getting yourself worked up over 45 mins of a meaningless friendly that will have no affect on the teams performance when the season starts. As I said Jose Mourinho has repeatedly said that the performance isn't that important in these matches. If he's not too bothered, then you shouldn't be either.

Wouldnt judge lindeloff yet, as long as he's touching the ball, getting a feel for the players around him, then im alright with that. Only 3 mickey mouse ganes he's played at 45 mins at a time. Mistakes are going to happen.

But him in old trafford with 60,000 behind him he'll do well.

You really need to chill out a bit,you seem constantly stressed over United. It's a fecking preseason game played in oven like conditions and you are getting all worked up over it.

McTominay was so easy to read with his penalty.

so telling me to stop getting my knickers in a twist was what?

I wasn't worked up, I simply said it was a terrible second half performance. You don't think so or don't care, fine, but don't have a go at me for expressing my opinion.

This reminds me of the penalty shoot out against Sunderland.

This must be the worst penalty shootout of all time.
