Budget burr grinder

I've being spinning around my Haribo for about 16 months now. Looking to go electric.

Anything decent for the €50-80 mark?

Does the age matter with these type of electrical devices?

I guess so,, you'd probably have to look at replacing the burrs at some point, but given your budget its going to be difficult to get a good grinder unless its a few years old.

That's not bad for 80 euro. You'd be lucky to do better on that budget.

I'd try to see it in action and get a feel for if its been looked after and if there any problems with the motor or anything.

I've been using one of these http://euronics.ie/product/krups-expert-burr-coffee-grinder/ for the last five or six years with good results for both espresso and coarser grinds. Probably frowned upon by coffee "experts" but does a good job for the price.

I use one of these every day and put the resulting dust through an Aeropress.

Had I known of the Krups grinder I suspect that I would have bought it instead. !

Aeropress coffee is all it will be used for so no espresso grind needed.

It's really better for filter though. It struggles with good espresso grinds. Otherwise, it's fantastic for the price.

I know it's a little over budget but I bought a Wilfa Smart Aroma earlier this year to replace my Baratza Encore and have been amazed at hoe good it is. I would say it's easily as good if not better then the Encore and half the price. The grind is constant and it's very easy to clean. I would recommend it if you could find the extra fe bob!
