The mere fact that you classify Pep Guardiola as an average player tells me pretty much everything I need to know about you.

FC Barcelona is the most successful club in Spanish football, it's one of the great European clubs with a long, distinguished and unique history and holds a very special cultural significance to Catalonia. A second tier club? Absolutely laughable.

    He made me lol :pac:
I agreed with him saying finishing outside the top two is a disaster though, but then the Pep comment :pac:

A Liverpool fan talking about tapping up players given their youth transfer ban and grovelling apology to Southampton for tapping up Van Dijk is irony of the highest order.

I have always been an AndersonisGod fan and feel it is his destiny to become a full time poster in the Liverpool thread along with greats such as BorneTobyWilde and 5starpool. I want him to come join us in the Liverpool thread

    :)

He was never going to leave.

A poor attempt by him or his father to get more cash, what they need to do next time is obtain the services of Paul Stretford.

    This is ridiculous.
The guy might be a fan of a club but he wasn't involved in tapping up any players.
Its laughable that you'd call it irony because a club he supports did something.

Ah the old Linfield/Rangers trick; two clubs who claim to be the most successful in the world, obviously equating a gold medal in the egg and spoon with a CL win

They'll start a new trend if they're not careful.

The Defrel one was just imitating Taylor. Southamptons one wont be beaten.

Rafa Hernandez says that Marcelo Belcher says Neymar will sign a new contract at Barcelona. If we are going on last night, Neymar playing in this Valverde team will be absolutely fearsome! Some press attributing Neymar staying to Gerard Pique, who is destined to be Barca President in an official capacity in the future.

Yeah nothing to do with the brand new contract he is about to sign.

All this makes PSG look a bit silly and if they have 200m burning a hole in their pockets then they'll surely spend a large part of it just to prove a point.

I think this is the second time PSG are played by Neymar for a bigger contract. Probably next time if Neymar is lined with PSG they will tell him to **** off and release official statement.

They were gonna bypass FFP apparently by getting Neymar to buy out his own contract and transfer the money to him via a 3rd party intermediary.

That's if you believe the stories, I reckon it was all manufactured.

Ha! Sure Pique was. That'd be ever so coincidental for Barca fans.

None of this was anything to with Neymar and his agent pining for a new bumper contract, no?

Ronaldo must be due a bumping of the gums. Naymar's potential move is getting him a lot of attention, I'm sure that won't be going unnoticed by "Cristiano"

Think he goes still. The silence is deafening from Neymar and his camp.

There's absolutely no way PSG could possibly have 200m burning a hole in their pockets and be playing fairly with financial fair play. If they lodged a bid of 222m that alone should be grounds for investigation. That money absolutely cannot be self funded.

But financial fair play is a load of ****e anyway so nothing will be done.
