Sky have the game listed for 19.55. What's the craic with that. Golf on now and no sign of it ending

Yeah was the golf delayed or something? There's another "sky open" channel maybe it'll move there?

A lad was telling me a team he 'heard'. Ian Burke and Farragher to start apparently.

Playing Ian burke against team of Donegals physicality would be a stupid move.

Power in for Lavelle anyway by sounds of it

Paying top dollar to virgin for sky sports and they stick it on a channel that's not even available. Not good enough.

We've kicked 4 long balls, lost 3, they scored from two and nearly the third.

    Not good enough.

If the two AI finalists don't do it, we shouldn't either.

Well on top in midfield. Forwards taking some lovely scores. Lets hope the lads keep it going for the second half because god knows they have taken some abuse the last 2 weeks.

Can't tell if we're good or Donegal are crap.
We don't appear to be spectacular but efficient all the same

Both. Full back line has no protection again. How has that happened? Just lucky ball isn't going in. Galway are sensational though breaking forward and in midfield.

You can only play whats in front of you and there is some lovely passes being played into the forwards who are out in front and beating their men. Also for the two goals lads were driving into the square to get on the end of it.

Meehan should be brought in now

Perfect time to give him a good 20mins.

Madness from kyne. 12 up and he does that out on the sideline. Brainless stuff.

    Well done Power.

    Well done Power.

    Big improvement on Lavelle.

We'd want to tag on a few scores here. Nothing for a while

Joke that Meehan isn't getting a run.

    They both got garbage time.

Seems KW scoured my old posts here and decided to pick Flynn at midfield.

Unless a player can play as a back or forward they shouldn't be playing and both Flynn and Conroy fit that bill, FOC does not.

I think the lack of a short kick out plan is going to be our down fall as it has before but we have another game in Croke Park to look forward to.

I think if we were against Roscommon or mayo next week I'd have us favourites. Unfortunately its Kerry and I can only see one winner

I don't think Kerry are all that tbh.

There's Dublin, then a huge gap to the rest which Kerry are heading up but they're not unbeatable.

I'd give Kerry a great chance of beating Dublin this year. Cluxton is Dublin's trump card. If they can manage to put enough pressure on his kickouts I think they're well capable of putting them to the sword.

Lads will be on the crest of a wave, confidence can only be high after putting up that score and some nice scores taken by the subs. After the Connacht final id take it so roll on next weekend in Croker.

We need to play with a defensive formation like in the final part of the first half and break at pace otherwise Donoghue and Geaney will tear us a new one. That 2nd quarter was fairly solid.

Glad for the lads . To be honest after watching Connacht final I didn't hold out much hope for them . Hopefully they put in a performance next week and whatever happens after that we will take it . Division one football and a few defenders next year should bring this team on more . Young enough panel overall

Congrats to the lads. Redeemed some pride after a horrific couple of weeks for Galway football. Seeing today really made me even more frustrated about the Roscommon game, we blew a chance at a two-in-a-row in Connacht and a great chance at a semi-final place.

The Tyrone game told us where Donegal are at really. Their league form has held up fairly well over the last couple of years but championship wise they have fallen back into the pack. Still any win against a Division 1 side is welcome.

I can't see anything but a comfortable win for Kerry next weekend but at least we're there in the last 8. I didn't think we would be after the Roscommon game.

Mayo v Roscommon should be interesting to watch as a neutral. It's going to be a bitchy week between them online. :)
