Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Slimani.

    Salah equalises.

Salah spends a lot of time centrally. Very likely I'll start with him. Coutinho playing midfield got the assist.

Coutinho goal. Has been immense. Have to get him in to my team

He has been unreal. I know he has a goal and an assist today but i f he plays in the position he is playing today I think he will be doing a lot of the assisting the assister stuff we hate.

Be grand goals and assists in Spain don't count anyway ;)

Will Austin be a cert to start with Gabbi?

From a Saints forum, looks like Stephens played very well today - could be the pick over Yoshida.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 10,398 Mod ✭✭✭✭F1ngers

    Harry(P), Toby, Eriksen and Dier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

A curiosity from yesterdays friendlies - Bertrand, while in the Saints squad, didn't get any minutes. Both Targett and McQueen did. My guess is it's down to transfer speculation and maybe Berty being a bit unsettled, but it might be something to bear in mind anyway. There's 3 gameweeks before the transfer deadline so just thinking in regards to players linked with a bigger club there might be a chance they miss out on games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,607 ✭✭✭caviardreams

I think Bertie also had a minor hamstring issue, and given his previous injuries in pre-seasons they may have just been extra cautious - but there could be something in it, who knows

Alonso goal for Chelsea vs Bayern. H/T 1-3
Fab playing alongside Kante in CM. Boga filling in for Pedro alongside Willian. Batman up front again (Morata on bench though expected to play some 2nd half). Christensen started at CB ahead of Luiz.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 10,398 Mod ✭✭✭✭F1ngers

    *Smack* - Batman scores.

Only caught the last 10 mins or so of the Chelsea game. What shape were Chelsea playing, or was it just chasing the game tactics! Morata looked to be very wide at times. Is there a chance the front 3 could have Morata wide and the batman through the middle?

He is certainly going well in Preseason anyway

Batman? Ya, he could turn out to be a very interesting option yet.

He's the fantasy option we deserve but not the one we need right now. So we'll scout him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our cult FPL hero. He's a silent striker, a watchful predator. A dark knight.

They are very impressed with Walters on a Burnley forum. He will defo start the season.

Yeah pre-season has definitely looked like he'll be first choice so he's in my latest draft, to rotate with J-Rod

As I mentioned at the start he is exactly the type of player dyche loves. A team player with a bit of physicality. I think he will play every game when fit and more times than not at centre forward. He is better than Barnes and vokes.

J-Rod scored again for WBA against Burton. Changed from him to Austin a couple of days ago, might be time to change back.

Is he playing wide or through the middle.

Baines (remember him) goal for Everton in Europa League tonight in 1-0 win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Martina started at RB. Though if I remember correctly he figured alot in the Europa League while at Saints, but not so much in the league itself

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

Everton didn't look great . Lack of pace in the attacking positions .

I only saw the last 30 minutes and Sandro was on then, he had some nice touches but didn't look quick. Rooney was deep and was poor . Klaasen not a quick player either. I'd say they will be fairly easy to defend against but a solid side. Its a wait and see with them anyway because of fixtures.
