Sorry about the delay, I had to go to the Doc this morning. I had the vet in to check the poly bull as he was a bit lame in the front leg so I locked him in the crush and was tying a rope on his front leg when he kicked with the back leg and caught my arm on the side gate.

The vet was a bit worried about a broken arm so she made me go to the doctor but all OK but fairly sore.

Don't talk to me. I'm only barely casting a shadow myself.

If MT is to be believed in the weather thread we could be under water tomorrow.

I'm hauling pig slurry out of a farm for the past few days. Anyway I pulled in for an oncoming tractor on the lane and cut front tyre of the tractor off a pipe which is part of a bore hole for a proposed new road between Waterford and Limerick. The pipe was unmarked and over grown with grass and briars. It belongs to the NRA. Are they responsible for the pipe and the damaged caused ?

Sore at the elbow, took milking handy and the girls were quiet enough after a few sweeties to help calm them down a small bit as well.

I got invited to join a game of 7 a side tonight so I'm still trying to decide what to do there:o

Trying to tie a rope on a bulls front leg so it could be lifted for the vet to look at. He kicked with his back leg and caught my arm against the bar of the crush gate.

My own fault really, I was looking the wrong way and he was always nervous in the crush so a third time in a little over a week wasn't on for him.

    No thankfully.

Just sore at the elbow and not much bruising yet either.

I can still use the ban hammer:cool:

Yeah, I spotted that this morning and it looks like only part of the story being told. The whole eating calf ration part kinda took any seriousness out of it.
