Suit jacket pants size mismatch

Heya, I'm a 38R for suit jackets but quite often the accompanying pants are too tight for my legs. Sometimes there's enough material to let out enough but it's never comfortable enough to spend a day in work in. Does anyone else experience this? Heya,

I'm a 38R for suit jackets but quite often the accompanying pants are too tight for my legs. Sometimes there's enough material to let out enough but it's never comfortable enough to spend a day in work in.

Does anyone else experience this? One time I was able to get the pants the next size up and have them taken in but the waist was still too wide even if there was more room in the thigh.

M&S allow you to mix and match jacket and trouser sizes, and have a wide range of sizes. They also do alterations for a reasonable charge, afair.
