They are very very nice, but I prefer an Italian spud if I can't get them and its weather dependent too. Not sure about Dunnes Stores, but the Wexford lads themselves are selling them at the side of many roads around the Leinster area along with strawberries. That's where I'm grabbing mine when I can. Supervalu may stock them as they have a history of buying really local stuff.

Carne spuds are the one's I'm buying along the road.

Crisis averted, I googled to double check and it seems that it was an April fools' joke. Those cruel bastards, though the iceberger did taste a lot nicer when I thought it was going to be my last :p

Two slices of my mammies brown soda bread spread with way too much butter, slabs of cheddar and sweet, ripe vine tomatoes (I only ever buy the cheapo ones at home so this is a big treat). Sprinkle of cracked black pepper to finish it off.

Stuffed now going to bed. And I wonder why I put on a few lbs whenever I visit my home place for a few days.

    NOOOOOOOO!

    It's not. LOL!:p

It's actually a lasange and side salad.:p Its nearly eaten now anyway. Serious curve ball there! Can't make Lasange to save my life, but there is a local joint that can and delivers.

Probably get thunder and sparks here when I'm fast asleep and miss it all!
