Police chief Roland Eisele urged other women to come forward if they were abused on Friday or Saturday night during the chaotic scenes.

Eisele said "the aggression and escalation of violence" were unprecedented and unexpected in the town of about 40,000 people, located near Stuttgart.

In a press conference on Monday, Eisele evoked the chaos of Cologne's infamous 2015 New Year's Eve celebrations when men of North African and Middle Eastern appearance groped and assaulted hundreds of women, sparking widespread public outrage.

And the German men just stood by and let this happen?

I think vigilantism should be an expected consequence of such behaviour. Women should carry pepper spray with a dye in it (is there such a thing?) so that these maggots can be hunted down by the cops.

Any immigrants caught doing **** like that should be fucked out of the country.

Since Cologne NYE 2015 the sales of pepper spray have rocketed in Germany. Does not seem to be doing much good though.

Police just need to send out a message the next time this happens,Get backup and quickly move in hard on these scum. Arrest everyone who shows any aggression towards them.

In Germany, it is practically illegal to take reasonable measures to defend yourself. Basically when these little fckrs attack, you have to sit and wait for the butcher's knife and hope the police turn up and do something in time.

    Any sources for that?

I've long held the same view about vigilantism. Vigilantism is the inevitable consequence of a justice system which fails to act. I personally would find it very hard to criticise somebody from a rough area of Dublin who ends up beating the living sh!te out of a member of one of the feuding gangs who he finds terrorising his neighbourhood - these f*ckers should be under permanent lock and key already, the public shouldn't have to accept active scumbags living among them and making their lives miserable.

    This can't be true.
Every good leftist knows that only conservative white people are evil.

Thus it must be a vast right wing conspiracy.

It's fine - the media will tell the Germans that it would be racist to think badly of the immigrants attacking them, so they'll take it like Good Germans and vote Angela in for another term. National Stockholm Syndrome.

Continental coppers are usually waiting in vans ready to go

    Why was there a delay?

If they were football fans they would have been smashed around. no mercy shown

    Strange

Meanwhile across the border from Germany in the Czech Republic the Czech parliament has enshrined the right to Gun Ownership into their constitution similar to the US 2nd Amendment. The Czech President has told his citizens to bear arms and not to be afraid to use them. I would consider this in Germany to be a terrorist attack and should have been met with deadly force.

At the very least, in this case, the attackers skulls should be cracked wide open.

Indeed - even the Police have had occasion to use it. Here the story of a police officer asking someone to move his car which ends in a riot with 250 people and 50 police officers: http://www.rp-online.de/nrw/staedte/duisburg/in-duisburg-bedraengen-250-menschen-polizisten-wegen-falschparker-aid-1.6905957

Someone mentioned vigilantism; I think it's the last thing that's needed. It could spiral into a full blown inter-culture tension / schism.

They've gotten themselves into quite the pickle, or rather Chancellor Merkel has and her advisors have gotten their country into one. I'd say even she would now acknowledge the absurdity of her old slogan "We can do it".

Tougher sentencing might help, better build more prisons, but then they could become a place of radicalisation.

Already crime gangs are alleged to be recruiting at refugee centres. With so few immigrants yet qualified to enter the workforce - it's easy to see why they might be attracted into crime.

Vigilantism in Germany tends to leads to extremism if history is anything to go by.

Just arrest, detain, imprison, then deport.

What the Germans did was shove all of their illegal migrant problems to smaller towns. Walk around Berlin and you won't be seeing many Afghan and MENA migrant gangs floating around the place. They are out of sight in small towns where the media don't care and can call the complainers rednecks and rural simpletons.

This is what they have recently done in France, ship them out of Paris and down to the small towns.

Incidentally (but not coincidently) we are also doing this for our illegal migrants. Sending them to places like Longford, Carlow and Roscommon, and if the locals object they will be portrayed as racist, small minded country folk.

She won't care because it won't effect her. Happily ensconced in South Dublin as she is.

I'm surprised Hitler Youth (or whatever the funk they're called these days) didn't use this sort of event to become the "hero".
    Why was there a delay?
Probably fear of being used as scapegoats for attacking ze dirty foreigners?

A work colleague who brings his family to the same campsite in Western France for the last 4 years told me the campsite now has to have for the first time ever 24/7 security on the gate and within the campsite because of a local refugee centre that opened up this year. Campsite residents have also been warned the surrounding forest cycling routes and walkways are no longer suitable for females in groups smaller than 5 due to several sexual assaults in the previous weeks before their arrival. On the day before their departure a Dutch woman got mugged beside a local beach by a man from Libya when she entered the public toilet area.

Needless to say he informed the campsites owner that they wouldn't feel safe returning next year and i doubt he will.
