Prepaid m50 toll pass but didnt use

I prepaid a double journey for the m50 but due to circumstances had to travel in different car. Anyone fimiliar with system, can i get refund, or does the passes carry forward until i pass through it again (could be months!)

Basically credit remains against the reg for 6 months, otherwise request a refund.
