Screen wash in diesel engine

How bad is it if you put 32 ml of screen wash in half a tank of deisal?

Will do no harm but I would fill with diesel to dilute it further.

Are you sure about the measurement 32ml is just a dash.

Is this screen wash or the concentrate?

Just keep car topped up with daysul for a week or two (dep on how much you drive) and it should be fine.
Perhaps toss in a bottle of dipetane or similar for good measure.

They poured a full gallon of screen wash into the engine oil, or so FB said, so it must be true.

My only concern even though it's such a small amount of screen wash is would it go all sudsy in the tank or is there a reason that diesel doesn't lather?

If diesel doesn't/ cant lather up I'd just forget the whole thing. Those bottles of concentrate are so small.

There is no agitation in the fuel tank like in a crankcase, but I suppose there could be some issue.
Me, I'd keep driving but it's not my car. If you want to drain the tank OP go ahead.

Screen wash is basically water so drained fuel filter as you would fuel in water light came on.... Or just change fuel filter

That's about 2 tablespoons, you'd probably get about that much condensation and water contamination in an average tank of diesel. Keep the diesel topped up for a week or so, and I doubt you'll have a problem. I'm still laughing though.

I know there's no moving components in the tank as such but I'd say the fuel does a fair bit of splashing around on a standard journey if it's anything like a bottle of coke on the passenger seat :pac:
