The problem with egos as big as these guys doing hype is it could turn in an instant. I don't see Mayweather losing it but one wrong twitch or word could cause a reaction before they've had time to think about what they're doing.

McGregor looks huge next to Mayweather, he's going to have a huge physicality advantage. McGregor keeps going on about Mayweather's small head and compared to McGregor's head it is tiny.

Heavily scripted or no ties? Pick one.

I genuinely believe they have never met outside of the press conferences and do not colude in any way.

They have no ties other than organising this event...

No grudge, history etc etc. I explained this already. No reason whatsoever for these two stranger to have hostility or bad blood...

This is all manufactured. Anyone who doesn't see this is a numpty!:)

Plus, they have two teams. It's not just Floyd and Conor doing deals here...

It's not like only they have to meet each other and fine comb what each says and does on stage.

Conor is not huge compared to him. This size difference is getting ridiculously overstated.

Listen to the interview with Mayweather after the presser, there isnt an earthly that either fighter does anything to jeopardise the money.

they are both just laughing at the public for making this happen. Mayweather is going to make a sick amount of money from this, possibly 350milllion .. It's absolutely ridiculous!

Not getting this continued small head jibe or whatever it is from Conor...

So Floyd's head is smaller than his....And?

BTW, lets's say it isn't bad blood and all is real, then Floyd will relish giving Conor a painful beating on Aug 26. Might do an Ali-Terrell on his ass!

No I agree that they have no previous with each other. Still don't thing they are working to a script. That's a bit of a stretch. If they are then Floyds team are terrible at this gig.

I think he is trying to make out that Floyds little head will be easily caved in by big fists. Or maybe just that small head equals small brain.

But so terrible that you couldn't make it up....at least not on the spot, hence scripted.....

One things for sure Vince will be throwing buckets of cash at McGregor for next years WrestleMania. These promo's he's cutting are perfect for WWE minus the cursing.

As I said. I don't think that's necessarily true. They already routinely sanction striking with 4oz in MMA.
Is there any specific law preventing them sanctioning it as an exhibition bout with MMA gloves.
Similar to Caged Muay Thai with 4oz gloves.

It wouldn't be sanctioned as a boxing match and Mayweather wants his 50-0 record.

    Wha?

Floyds retorts sound like someone intellectually limited making it up on the spot.

Both of them are terrible. McGregor just shouts and curses at Mayweather and Mayweather isnt much better.

Both of them bitch this bitch that ... It's all hyperbole and pretty embarrassing to watch, most people that have mentioned it to me are sick of it already and just want to see them in the ring.

    See my first post.
I already specifically pointed that out and that Floyd wouldn't go near it either way.
I was talking about what could be done, not what will be done.

For me both are no different. Conor and his incessant swearing and waffle and Floyd and his incessant swearing and waffle...

Did Conor actually spit on the stage last night? I mean, really, how can people think this to be good?

How anyone is seeing and hearing this and coming up with observations like Conor blew him away. Conor was so much better, or Floyd blew him away or Floyd was so much better....

    Better at fooking what?

The press conferences so far look scripted to me. I just hope the fight isn't.

Its a sppech format, if you think the lads are going up without stuff prepared you're an idiot, lot of improv in there alright but the lads are trying to sell a fight, winging it completely would be silly.

I think it was chewing gum he spat out.

Listen I don't condone bad boy thuggish behaviour. I don't cheer it on. I'm a peaceful laid back guy.

But, like you have recognised, this is entertainment. I don't hold these lads to a parliamentary standard of speaking. If it is funny, I laugh.

McGregor is way funnier to me than Floyd. Better in that way. Maybe that is because me and him have the same accents and grew up in the same area. ''Tis just a laugh, man.

Just to clarify - I agree with you - but I meant it is not scripted as in there is no agreement beforehand between the two parties. Of course both have in some way formulated what they are going to say (except for McGregor on the first night).

Nor do I, but let's be real, both are just behaving like lowlifes....

    Scripted or not....

You're talking about the Facebook / X-Factor generation.
Maybe they were comparing their fashion?

You really think that neither team knows what the other has?

There has to be some kind of agreement in what the teams are saying. Some collusion.

Its was all fixed and scripted since it was announced.

I would hazard maybe even the fight will be too, with a 99.9% chance of a re-match.

Well how else would you try to come out on top in such a scenario? A bit of derivation from first principles?? They are going to be punching each other. It is a primal alpha fight. Mentally now, physically later.

Well of course they have an idea. They know their own weaknesses. And I agree that Floyd is such a woman beating coward that he probably has McGregor legally toungue tied. That's different that circus/panto type lets all conspire for the press conference.

    It is exactly that.

"Hawh hawh can't believe all you sheeple fell for the panto script and believed McGregor thought he can win the fight. I am so smart".

But if McGregor bombed (like he kinda did on Monday) then he would be conveniently out of his depth in the boxing world.

Obviously the boxing and MMA purists will watch this regardless of how much press is done so this is merely just to add on an extra million or PPV buys from the average joes.

    Steady on, Gerry.

I have my excuses ready, but it will take a bit more to change my pick!
