No idea how people think McGregor "won" that. Mayweather got him to state, on live tv, in front of thousands of fans watching, that he'd be willing to gamble his purse on the outcome. "You get the contract done up, I'll sign it". If a contract comes out of that schoolbag in one of the next few pressers, McGregor has 2 choices. 1. Do the fight for free or 2. Look like an absolute coward in front of the world.

I would love to see him produce a contract for an all or nothing fight now McGregor has said that. I'm sure McGregor will just rip it up or something though while telling Mayweather to "Shut your f**cking mouth".

He's already said he'll sign it. That part is done.

And Mayweather would own him. The only word he'd have to say from then until the bell went for the first round would be "coward".

And we know Conor likes a bet too... didn't he bet his entire purse with Dana and the fertitta Bros in one of his UFC fights?? (Aldo or Mendes fight I think)

If Floyd follows through, and Conor backs down... the mind games are effectively over with one verbal punch! :P

Something tells me, it's all just smoke and mirrors though. The only people these guys want to take money off, is joe public! ;)

(hope I'm wrong though... will definitely watch this fight, if Conor goes all in with his chips!)

Mayweather would win the whole prefight battle, if it's real , by doing that. Hopefully his side do something tonight or tomorrow.

McGregor's only in this for the money. There's no way he'd gamble it. Would love to see his reaction if pushed on it. :D

All McGregor has to say is he'll only bet the fight purse if they use 4oz gloves. Mayweather can't have it all his own way and actually expect McGregor to bet everything

Mayweather also planted the seed that he has something big on McGregor in relation to women, that he said he is keeping until the last press conference. I'd love to know if he has something or if he's just winding him up.

I'm convinced Conor dresses that way, as a deliberate "peacocking" strategy just to attract more attention... like Chris Eubank, for example!

It would be very hard to believe, that he actually thinks he looks great, with his shoulders almost bursting through the seams of his suit jacket... and his trousers looking like he borrowed them off his 12 year old kid brother after his confirmation!! :pac:

Floyd definitely edged the fashion battle this time around... not that either of them have much ability in that department tbh... (those rapper hats he wears, are really f*ckin stupid lookin!!) :p
Are you for real?? The suit is tailor fit. You're one of those people that thinks a suit should be hanging off you? Like Frankie Edgar

If McGregor produced a contract to fight in 4oz gloves, Mayweather would sign it immediately. He knows that it would never be sanctioned, so there is zero risk to him.

Exactly, and McGregor can do the same in regards betting his whole fight purse. He knows 4oz won't be sanctioned so he won't have to bet anything but doesn't look like he's not backing himself

Ya and McGregor would sign Floyd's as he knows 4oz gloves would never be sanctioned. It's all a show man, your taking all this way too serious.

Are folks really taking this betting thing seriously?

Wake d fook up. This back and forth build up is staged....

There is no bets or new contracts or chances that Conor loses his payday because of a few verbals.

He said in the interview afterwards that he has nothing. Surprised he admitted it so soon.

McGregor just has to mention the domestic abuse accusations anyway.

I mean the 'battle', not the bet. It's obviously all staged.

Of course it's staged. No believes it. But I'm saying if Mayweather pushed him on it, he'll actually have something to slag him over instead of shouting 'Hard work!' all the time,

Ya it's obvious enough but Weldinho is like a dog with a bone going on about it. He doesn't seem to really understand it's all for show.

Hanging off you? Certainly not, no...

But your trousers should reach your shoes, when standing. (you should never be able to see your socks, when standing in a well fitted suit)

And your jacket should not be so tight, that you resemble bruce banner in the incredible hulk, just before he bursts out of his clothes!! :pac:

The seams on a well tailored suit, should never look stretched, like you see on Conor's jacket.... that's a big mistake. And the front button should also comfortably close, also without looking forced - again like you see with Conor's.

Just because the man wears expensive suits, does not mean he has good taste or style!

Jesus, people are taking the betting thing seriously?? Wtf?? Lads it's taken months to work out a contract. These would have been iron clad. Neither of them are going to bet their purses on the outcome. Let's say for a moment the highly unlikely happens and Mayweather injures himself in round one meaning he can only fight at 50% of his ability and he loses the fight, not going to happen he's all about the payday. Everything iv'e seen from him fight wise tells me he never takes risks and he's cold and calculated.

McGregor will not care about being called a coward as nobody in their right mind can accuse him of that when you look at the miles he's put in to get where he is. The guys a genius. He's not even a boxer ffs and yet he'll earn more from this one fight than 99% of boxers will in their whole career.

They are facts not accusations. Mayweather is a woman beater. I'd say it's safe to assume it's in the contracts somewhere McGregor can't say anything about it or he'll be losing a percentage of the purse, otherwise he'd be all over it like a fly on s h it.

Floyd might be cautious inside a boxing ring... but he's not so cautious outside of the ring!

Have you ever seen some of the obscene amounts of money he bets on US sports...!?

That's not me saying this particular bet is for real... I would be hugely surprised if it ever happened. He also said he'd fight in the octagon, and wear smaller gloves...

It wouldn't be sanctioned as a boxing match with 4oz gloves.

They could use 8oz gloves if McGregor agreed to drop down to 147lbs.

Well then he needs to shut up about 4 oz gloves and 8 oz gloves and read up on the rules that govern professional boxing bouts.

4 oz gloves being allowed? He still gets whupped....just a little more painfully!
