Fis and paying private rent

Hi My boyfriend and I are renting privately with our 4 month old child. I can't find out if paying for rent is taken into consideration. We both work and our combined weekly income is 598 after tax. Any advice welcome

fis is worked solely on your income pre tax. So with an income of 600 a week after tac you are 90 euro over the income limit for fis with one child so are not entitled to it.

The limit is 511 europer week for a family with 1 child.
