    Hello,
    Sky Arts has a loosely themed Ritchie Blackmore night on Friday, and Villagers and Damien Rice in a vaguely Irish Sunday offering.

    BBC4 goes to some of of their favourite repeats, namely the Guitar Riffs and that Richest Songs in The World thing, which might be the most repeated show on Television ever now. A few other bits and bobs too, good news for all those campaigning to see more Blazin' Squad on BBC4 ...

    Before U2's forthcoming performance in Croke Park, this documentary looks back at the band's early years in the late 1970s, when the Dublin band connected with a loyal audience at the thriving Downtown Kampus gigs, run by students in UCC at the Arcadia Ballroom in Cork. Between 1978 and 1980, U2 played there about 10 times, building a loyal and enthusiastic following, and the performances are believed to have played an important part in their development

    Just the throw in a few titles and news - the BBC are commissioning new format music show for BBC One in the Autumn - 30 mins of live music and er chat from top acts yet to be announced obviously. It's got an initial 6 week run.

    Speaking of Nick Heyward - he has a live set on Vintage TV at the moment - quite good actually.

    I'll be having the Reginal D Hunter & Buena Vista programmes, both look great. In fact, I'm gonna set a reminder right now.

    The Duff documentary, alas, alas, is a bit rubbish. I saw it on Netflix a few months back. Mad stories from a champion bloke, but quite badly made. (Assuming it's the same one).
