So I suppose my TA is, ppl who do no good for me feeling entitled enough to think their wants come before mine.

I'm so glad I'm in Bandon Cork this weekend, our house in Salthill, Galway practically backs onto the Pearse Stadium which is holding the Connacht final today, t'would be a noisy place up there, especially with Mr PA man's voice reverberating all around the place.

I had a number of different threads open & thought Anna's post was in a Random Running one

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=104035388#post104035388

Was thinking it was a bit odd to go for a run without one.

On that note, shopping for bras that fit properly is a nightmare in itself - it's even worse than shopping for jeans.

You might have some default font size settings on your phone that will help.

My employer supplies a certain amount of free milk for us to use in the canteen for teas and coffees. The amount we have delivered is usually enough.

However I have a colleague who really enjoys milk as a beverage and will drink easily 1-2ltrs a day of the stuff meaning there is none left for the rest of us to use in teas or coffees.

Our office is based in the middle of a huge industrial estate and is a 10 minute drive from the nearest shop so when it's gone, it's gone.

TA'd that there will be no milk left in the morning in work for a cuppa cause he drank it all on Friday. Also TA'd that this is even on my mind on a Sunday night.

People launching themselves on to zebra crossings without even pausing to check if there's a car coming. I know pedestrians have right of way when on the crossing, but when it is me I prefer make sure that an oncoming vehicle actually has the chance to stop before stepping out on to the road.

I'm always saying this to people, their response "ah but sure they have to stop" but they may not and then you're lying on the road injured/dead. Someone else being at fault is no comfort to your friends or family when you're dead.

My TA is that I went to use the toilets for disabled people in Jervis Street SC yesterday - I don't live in Dublin so I think it was actually my first time using the toilets there.
So I rushed to the toilets to find that you need a key to access them:confused: I walked around trying to figure out where you're supposed to get the key from and I eventually stopped a cleaner and asked if she knew anything about it, her response was "why can't you use the ladies toilets?"
    I was gobsmacked.
My husband and I ended up just going somewhere else because I was so embarrassed:(

It's even worse when they walk onto the road with their kids from between cars. WTF like? What a great way to teach your kid to cross the road safely

Oh god, the worst of those guys are the parents who aggressively shove the front of their baby's buggy/pram out into the road to stop traffic so they can cross (often while talking to someone else). YOU WOULD NOT DARE HARM MY LITTLE DARLING. Well, no, you lunatic, but that's like demanding a bullet stop with your arm, if things go wrong, things are going to go very very wrong!

Edit: Also, title of thread working as intended - TA about the misspelling and itching to correct it!

I had a 7 am start for years, by the end of the week I was wrecked. I used to be TA at the lucky Feckers starting at 9.30, that was practically lunchtime when you're up at 5.45.

Thursday mornings is when it really hits me, I almost cry getting out of bed. All other mornings I wake no bother.

The day flies by though and saying goodbye to the 9.30 peeps hours before they're finished is great.

Ta'd at a cyclist yesterday, don't wanna get the whole debate going again but this guy should know better! He had all the cycling gear on so he's hardly a novice on the roads, anyway coming up to a T junction I indicate left, slow down so I don't smack the car in front look in the mirror what do I see....Mr Cyclist powering away on my left side just as I'm about to turn.

Does my head in all these ads telling us to be careful yet these guys cant be arsed to wait and potentially cycle into the side of a car! Same goes for motorbikes absolute mad men on the road worse than cyclists.

I would love to get home at 6pm :D

I leave work about 4 - but I don't get to go straight home unfortunately. I'll get home about 7.30 tonight which is a good day.

TA at how crap my quality of sleep is lately. 6 hours last night. 45 minutes of that was awake and only 38 minutes of it was in deep sleep. I'm bloody knackered.

Clocks in public places in Ireland, on buildings etc.

Nearly always appear to be permanently stopped or showing the wrong time.
    Why is that?
