    Good match.
Clare should have got at least 1 goal though. And mayos fitness will probably win it for them in the second half

Mayo's bench will win it for them, we don't have the subs to bring on so when our main players tire Mayo will pull away.

It's his thing, give a bit of background on players or where they're from, better than just being a robot.

Marty is overdoing it in fairness. We all know he is from Clare he doesn't need to prove it by telling us every single tiny bit of information about all the Clare players.

Martin McMahon is an absolute card magnet - I think three different Kerry players got yellows for tackling him in the space of ten minutes the last day

He throws the head back in every tackle. All going as I expected in Ennis. Good football from Clare, but I expect them to come up short fitness wise.

Vaughan's black card was correct, but Lillis should have got black there instead of yellow. Don't know how Deegan called it in as a yellow!

Mayo to win out by 5 or 6 IMO.

Clare will need a goal or two to see this out unfortunately, I think

Clare will need to be at least 5 points up with 10 minutes to go to have a chance

That second goal chance was a foot block, that's a red card and penalty AFAIK

Not much on mayo's bench either though. If Parsons can come on, he'll be a big boost. Other than that, I don't see many options. They'll be looking at Boland, Kirby, Regan?

I'd be in agreeement with many here, can see Mayo grinding out a strong 2nd half and leaving us cursing missed goals.

you'd wonder if mayo have the legs after last week to use the bench as theyd like to

Clare have the wind, but they looked a little tired by the end of the half. May need a goal to get themselves over the line, they should have had at least one already there.

They have nothing to fear from this Mayo team. Mayo are sitting back, cagey, inviting Clare to run at them. They are there for the taking if Clare can take their chances.

There is hardly a breeze here never mind a wind
Mayo are damn lucky to be only 2 pts down but I'm optimistic there is a goal or 2 in it for us to fall over the line

Clare will huff and puff up until 60 minutes and then fitness/replacements will come into it.

Mayo are fragile though so a goal at the right time could see them throw in the towel. Hard to keep this pace and intensity too having played 90 mins last Saturday. The well is fairly shallow at the moment

i saw Jamie malone play v Galway in the league and was very impressed. Impressed with him again today, good burst of pace on him. Should've passed for that goal chance though.

Good burst of pace for a fairly big lad alright, decent fielding too.

Dirty 1 there by O'Mahony, didn't play the ball and did O'Connor's leg

Good way to break a foot there as well, 2 dirty "awkward" tackles from Mayo

Bad miss by Mcloughlin, straight on with the goalie and rolled it straight at him.

Goalie was committed to the dive and the ball hit his foot. Silly black card there

Mayo came out to play the man not the ball to disrupt Clare, it's working so far
