Hi, I had surgery on my foot two weeks ago and it looks like I'll still be on crutches when we head to Scotland. Do I need to tell the ferry company?

You just have to ask them. I would have thought you could be OK getting around on your own but the Ferry Company may consider that you have a disability that needs special attention if their is an emergency and for that reason they limit the number of disabled passengers. There's a chance if the max number of disabled passengers has been reached for that trip they will refuse to carry you.

Yikes. Heart attack. Yeah I can get around fairly well but it did cross my mind that maybe I needed to inform them

Edit: Rang them up. They'll park us closer to the lifts which is handy. I don't really need any other assistance!
