Inztalling an aux input Ford Focus 2008-2010

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me with finding an aux input which fits the back of my radio in a Ford Focus. I recently purchased this one http://www.ebay.ie/itm/For-FORD-Focus-Mondeo-6000CD-Aux-In-Input-Adapter-Cable-Lead-For-iPod-MP3-Keys/251884222533?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 from ebay however it would not fit into the back of the radio.

In regards to the radio its the newer model for Ford Focus 2008-2010 and has an aux button on it. There is no connection in the glove department or no connections behind the glove department to connect the aux cable. So I was just gonna get the cable itself with the connector and connect it into the back of my stereo however I cannot seem to find the right cable.

It should attach onto your main radio loom within the block, not a separate plug as such.

Yea, that's what I tried. I just attempted to connect the Aux input in the back of the radio but the aux attachment was a bit too thick.........unless I was doing it wrong, which is possible. I ll try take photos and will attach them here.

K, so i managed to attach the aux cable to the back of the radio by taking off the plastic out casing of the aux attach and attaching it via the 4 pins, however still no joy. Aux function presses on the radio but nothing happens

See pic below. The 4 pins showing on back or radio. Am I doing something wrong?
