If the price is too good to be true there's a reason for it. Gearbest have no issue knowingly sending out faulty/refurbished goods.

Especially if you use GB points you've accumulated.

For example I bought a pair of Meizu EP51 earphones from them a while ago, no issues. Arrived sealed. Recently I bought another pair, this time using GB points I accumulated to get around $4 off. This pair arrived unsealed with the box seals cut. The earphones had dirt and hairs on them. The battery doesn't work properly and loses its charge even when turned off unlike the sealed pair I got.

Also got a router from them which constantly drops Wifi connection in a 'flash sale'

I tried writing a negative review for both these products on their website but the review never showed up. So many people could be writing bad reviews but gearbest will only show the good ones.

Be very wary buying from there, ofc I'm not saying to 100% don't buy from there but they defintely have some shady sales tactics.
