    So many experts about Gaia.com on here? I never heard of them till i saw this online? I tend to look at the people doing the research and see if they credible. I don't if it's a hoax, but they got legitimate doctors talking about it on video.

    read the snopes.com link. Two of the guys in the video have previous history of making **** up. A little bit of cynicism is your friend.

    What flaws what you on about? I said it could be a hoax, i just more accepting to new discoveries then you are.The video only appeared a few days ago or so, like what do you want a White House announcement? Its best to verify if there is anything here before jumping the gun. The UFO connection is the reason they have to verify by themselves.

    I'd go with fake , for one thing a 3 fingered humanoid doesnt make any sense, it would be less developed than any species of monkey

    The moderator can close the thread and we can reopen if more news comes out soon. Have no problem with that. I just find it interesting when Scientists are involved and you can find out if they are legit or not.

    I just going to post this for people who have concerns about this being a hoax. I only learned about this today. So i am looking to see if i can find updated information on this. Just found an interview with this guy and he is one of the lead researchers. I'm only listening to myself right now not sure i be able to finish have work. He said 3 labs tested the mummy and all have come back with the same time period. He claims the lab names will be released very soon to verify all this. Again i posting this for those who are interested. If it turns to be hoax, least you know the lengths people will go to fake stuff. So far this looking legit to me and everyone involved in this is saying the right things so far!

    Really CNN fact-checking? If you follow the story instead of jumping the gun like everyone else on here. They are not profiting from this. The providing the information for free on their website. They even on video do show some of the people involved and when i checked one of the people involved. She is a legit Doctor working at a respectable hospital. Nobody is saying this is an alien being yet. It just a mummy that's being tested to find out what it is. It could be a deformed human being?

    I checked on this and that information is false. Jaime Maussan found some weird creature, thought it was real, spend he's own money to look at it, and after talking about it for ages later found out the creature was a fake. Sites online run with it he was trying to hoax people, but the reality is very different.

    The so called alleged hoax was discovered to be hoax by him? Do you not see the problem?

    I don't know who Benitez is i will have to look this up. UFO people are interested in this discovery, not sure what that's a big deal to people on here? Again like i said the only reason i think this is legit is because of that woman doctor. She is a recognized professional working for a recognized hospital still. I don't think she involve herself in a hoax and i really don't think the hospital would back her in this endeavour either if it was fake. Her Catscan least proves to me this is not a plaster made object. There is a skeleton and tissue of something there.

    he is in the video you linked to. you did watch it, right? Benitez was also a recognised professional until he was involved in the hoax in 2015.

    This story probably deserves a cautious wide berth, as is hosted by Gaia.com (which has an Annual Plan of just $95.40!), and the only other media reporting this would be the 'red-top' likes of: express.co.uk thesun.co.uk mirror.co.uk dailystar.co.uk

    However Peru does seem to be an area of some activity:

    Peru's air force has said its reinstating a department to research ‘anomalous aerial phenomena’ aka UFO’s (as reported in guardian & telegraph 2013) after many sightings reported over the years.

    Also an actual real TV crew captures what looks like a purple disc/helicopter without rotatory blades.

    There not charging you money to watch the only two videos of the event they have on their site. Many sites charge people a subscription fee to watch unique content, whats the big deal with that?

    watch the video i posted the link to. he examines a two foot tall mummy and concludes that it couldnt be human. something he was fond to be very wrong about. the guy is a joke.

    What is he's connection to the find? This is just one person you're worried about here, he could be just a person who knows about it- Lot of crazy people want to involve themselves in real discoveries.
