Healy didn't last in Dr Crokes for long. So he should be kicked out of the Cork job as well.

i heard this before , met a few people from crokes a few months back they said he was a terrible manager compared to pat o'shea ,

that last comment alone i suppose speaks volumes about the county board down there that they didnt go after an all ireland wining manager in o' shea or o'connor but went for a guy that was out of his depth ,

surely there is one or two really good "managers" in cork at the moment , i put emphasis on the word manager as we already mentioned the likes of top coaches like paudi kissane that are being overlooked from the set up at the moment which is criminal

Great result a little worrying how we left Tipp back into it, but after a run of coming out the wrong side of these results this is great news for Cork hurling.
    Well done to all involved

That's some crowd for a minor game . hurling needs cork as much as football needs Dublin

Cork have probably the best hurling support in the country.

Great day for Cork next sunday,2 teams in Thurles. Tickets will be scarce, clubs not getting any juvenile tickets. It will cost me a packet i have 3 teenagers, the sunshine supporters will be out in big numbers . None of them there last year when Wexford beat us.

It was drawing crowds - I literally didn't pick up on that so I was wondering what the comparison was for. All good

Congrats on the win last night folks. Some talented team ye have and dare i say it probably that little sprinkling of good fortune to go with it.

We had the boot on your throat last Thursday night and didnt finish ye off. Young Turnbull looks an absolute handful. Connery looks class. I think ye will win the all ireland.

The one fear i have for Cork for future would be the that old crux the administration. While FM and his cronies are at the helm, there is always risk of a blow-over. I was surprised with the attitude of the minor manager the other night pushing for the game to be played 40 hours later. I thought it was a reckless irresponsible attitude. He has done a fine job but he needs to learn that these are young kids playing an amateur sport not Premiership players

Can you imagine premiership players playing on a 40 hour break? Young GAA players play far more often than them for god sake, with few complaints...

After an epic game like that though where they played 80 tough minutes it made perfect sense to move the game to Monday night.

And well done Cork the better team won. Looking at the bigger picture as a fan of hurling first and foremost, from a player welfare perspective though im glad it was played on the Monday. Whoever won after that be it yourself or ourselves then congrats and best of luck.

Had it been played on Saturday with players not even close to recovery then it would have been a lottery, I feel it just wouldnt have been a fair reflection and thats even if Tipp won it. The quality of the game would have also suffered.

Agree totally. Was a disgrace that Saturday was even suggested

Cork have the biggest population of the hurling counties(Dublin are more football), Wexford have the best support.

Yeah there was 16,000 at the semi final between Cork and Waterford 2 years ago compared to 35,000 this year.

I think all counties generally have a large contingent of support that need an excuse to go. Wexford no different there, but when they do travel my god do they have some army behind them.

Semple Sellout - Cork and Clare set to play in front of full house for Sunday's Munster hurling final

The counties also contest the minor decider.

Looking forward to it already and it's only Wednesday
