We had the boot on your throat last Thursday night and didnt finish ye off. Young Turnbull looks an absolute handful. Connery looks class. I think ye will win the all ireland. The one fear i have for Cork for future would be the that old crux the administration. While FM and his cronies are at the helm, there is always risk of a blow-over. I was surprised with the attitude of the minor manager the other night pushing for the game to be played 40 hours later. I thought it was a reckless irresponsible attitude. He has done a fine job but he needs to learn that these are young kids playing an amateur sport not Premiership players

Looking at the bigger picture as a fan of hurling first and foremost, from a player welfare perspective though im glad it was played on the Monday. Whoever won after that be it yourself or ourselves then congrats and best of luck. Had it been played on Saturday with players not even close to recovery then it would have been a lottery, I feel it just wouldnt have been a fair reflection and thats even if Tipp won it. The quality of the game would have also suffered.
