Lads - at what age would ram lambs need to be removed from the flock? I normally ring castrate them at a couple of days but noticed that I missed a couple this year!

you'll know when you see first signs of them trying to jump ewes in field, which is when I used to do mine before started weaning earlier. Probably OK until August, but stand to be corrected.

On our farm, Ram lambs are removed from the ewes at weaning in late June/early july. We leave them with ewe lambs for about 2 weeks after weaning and then separate them. We probably don't need to take them away from ewe lambs until at least mid August but I don't want to take any chances with them
