Mine arrived last week. Was frustratingly stuck on a (cheap) padlock for ages but no luck. Eventually tried another (Timpson) padlock and can repeatedly open it in a few minutes. Still stuck on the original lock, can get 3 binding pins to release but I think reaching the far one oversets a mid-barrel one. The key suggests this too (2 high points with a valley in between).

Anyway I've re-prioritied which padlocks I use where!

Doesn't sound like a problem until you want to take the key out of the inside to step outside to lock the door from the outside!
"Lock" the door while it's open? Then take the key out, "unlock" it from the outside, then you can close it and lock it

I got 2 kits. Followed the youtube demo. Within a minute i could open both locks in under 10 seconds with more than one of the picks.

My 8 yr old daughter got great joy out of being able to do same.

I moved on to a crappy old chinese padlock i had spare. For guts of an hour i tried and tried with all picks. Not a hope. Wouldnt budge. Had a spare eurobarrel. Same thing.

Btw if anyone breaks a pick in a lock and cant get the broken bit out theres a youtube video which shows a few easy ways to get a broken key out of a lock. I find the small hack saw blade raking method works every time in a few seconds. One of the serrated picks should do same job.

I'm about 7 weeks waiting for mine. Is that a norm? Doesn't seem to be.

I got mine within 2 weeks and then ordered a separate one 3 days after and that was < 10 days delivery IIRC.

Mine might have taken about that. China parcels are funny that way. You'd swear a mail boat only docks here once every 2 months and if you order at the wrong time you can be left waiting ages.
