Without the TMO interjecting I think the ref was fine with it.

And with it goes any chance Hendo had of starting/featuring

Hopefully just a yellow. Could be a week suspension on top.

No chance he'll get cited for that.

Jordie Barrett is magic, still only 20.

Is Scott Quinnell right there in saying that the tmo should just say that's a yellow. Doesn't seem it, surely the decision and the final word is with the ref

I'd say it's unlikely but I've seen some very funny calls in Super Rugby this season.

Hendy could cost them the match...

    Lions creaking and looking shapeless

Twitter is hilarious right now, NZ fans giving out stink about Poite, BIL fans praising him.

    Seymour pulls a Daly

Completely agree with Greenwood's rant on managing the conversion there.

Hardly. Might as well say Biggar missing a conversion cost them the match.

Henderson was a big reason as to why they were in front to begin with.

All momentum with the Hurricanes now

North needs to work on his technique at the ruck. He often just flops on the player like that. Although he sometimes gets away with it.

Just left for work. Wat happened. He was having a stormer up to then

Picked up a guy and turned him beyond horizontal at a ruck.

Hurricanes have scored twice in the yellow card period so far. He's really blotted his copybook after a quality performance.

    TRY hurricanes!

    Even stevens now!

Jordie Barrett is magic, still only 20.

He is also a genetic freak for the position he plays. 6ft 5 fullback.

So the famous 6 are useless from Gatlands perspective. Lions need fresh blood but no chance of them coming on it appears.

You don't think leaving your team down to 14 men at the end of the game when fitness levels are on the wane is a contributory factor? Canes have 14 points so far during the sinbin and we're only 60% through it

Fitness wouldn't be as a big a problem if Gatland decided to use the subs.

They were only ever there as jersey fillers, and that is as it should be.

    Good disciplined defence

I'd like to see a replay of that, was it knocked forward by foot, might be harsh on the Hurricanes.

Yes it's contributory along with a hundred things. But you said it could cost them the match. Big difference there.

If you want to pin point a single reason it can't be anything but the fact that the Lions are essentially playing without a bench.
