Turns out my fingers are straight, but my mickey is fabulous.

One of my good friends came out a while ago. I was shocked. I actually thought he was having me on for ages. It didn't help when some of the aul dolls were like "did he tell you" which sounded so suss that they were in on it too. But nope, the man likes pipe. It's weird because we were wingmen to each other for ages and cleaned up too. He hid it exceptionally well...now I can see it a little and think "ah yeah" but I'd say that's more him being more comfortable and not having to hold back and hide things. Absolute shame, he could have knocked the slapped arse face off a good load of aul dolls.

I'm just shocked he's from South County Dublin.
Where did that accent come from ? He should sound like Ross O'Carroll-Kelly or BOD.

I have actually been more surprised about people who turned out not to be gay, for example, I thought that Pascal Donohue and the late Tony Fenton were gay

Right hand says I'm straight, left says I'm gay

Does that mean I'm a closet bisexual?

Your hands don't say anything about you...your username does suggest some closeted tendencies that you overcompensate for.

I've got the macho man fingers and like nothing more than other macho men.
I suspect this may be pseudoscience.

No, the Journal of Phrenology tested the validity of this model. Mystic Meg confirmed the findings.

All this fingering aside (which from memory is due to a testosterone boost in the womb) the two I was a bit surprised at were 'Pat Carey' and 'Gerry Buttimer'. They weren't exactly vamping it up.

I tend to have good "Gaydar" so I can tell if someone is gay or not. Some get offended (especially in a work capacity, when they do tell you and you respond, "thanks for telling me, I had thought that". Never know why you'd be offended, I just pick up certain things that would indicate it.

The lead actor in Prison Break, now granted he was playing a character so you wouldn't expect any clues.

They get offended because its a tossery thing to say. Try to be less if a tosser and you'll offend less people.

I remember when Ursula Halligan acknowledged her lesbianism, I was not surprised and yet at the same time had never suspected it, which was kind of strange.

2 guys from school, they didn't come across as gay at all. Also, a female colleague. To paraphrase Doug Stanhope, "if you can tell someones sexuality without them disclosing it, they're probably assholes" which I think is fitting in my experiences!

    Ah Jerry Buttimer was obvious

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

My maths teacher who left her husband and started a relationship with a female garda.
She was a great teacher, I think she quit not long after, she also did sex education and we sometimes had sex education in maths class...but that was more fun than maths.
