Were you ever surprised when somebody came out as gay?

    I'm just basing this on people I know. I was never really surprised when somebody came out at gay. I always found it was obvious from about the age of 12.Some people came out when they were in their teens and others came out later but it was never really a surprise. I might have just known a good few people who were stereotypical gay(6 out of 35 people from my primary school class). My older brother came out when he was 29 but I always had a fair idea but he was expecting me to be shocked/surprised at the fact.
    Has anybody here had the same experiences?

    I was a bit shocked when my daughter came out as gay at 15, just wasn't expecting it. No problem with it at all just caught me off guard. Oh and George Michael.....

    There have been at least two people I know who I was convinced were gay, but was very surprised to find out that they were straight.

    Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    It's the ones who evrryone thought were gay but ended up marrying fine looking women were the bigger surprises than those who prefer sausage/fish.


    *all this chatter about the ring finger - it is the only finger that is directly connected to the heart via unbroken vein. Or so i read.
